Synopsis:

Spoiler:

The team travels to rural Pennsylvania, when they find that a construction worker's disappearance into a subterranean passage may have larger implications. Meanwhile, Walter uses frogs as guinea pigs for reality-shifting experiments.

Looking forward to it as usual. I sincerely hope it holds up with the increased competition this week.

Speaking of "desirable objects", did you see Anna Torv at the Emmy's last Sunday?

Interesting picture. She has a very Gwyneth Paltrow look there.

Am I the only one annoyed that they "killed" Agent Francis last week?

My wife is PISSED. Charlie was her favorite.

In that pic above, she still reminds me of Janice from the Muppets.

That was the first thing I said, "It's Lydecker!"

This really reminded me of all those "stand alone" episodes on X FILES, and it wouldn't be difficult to imagine this one reworked for Mulder & Scully.

Okay, I'm not sure who the scientific advisers on Fringe are, but SLE women most certainly can and often do have uneventful pregnancies. And identifying a butterfly rash on necrotic tissues decades after the fact? Wow...

that was a crazy episode.

so charlie was holding his side in this episode. could it be that the shapeshifter can only hold that shape for a certain period of time before needing to shift to someone else?

She looks like Cate Blanchett in that picture.

I liked the episode. I agree it felt like an X-Files episode, which I kinda dug.

Maybe Charlie was having trouble shape shifting his Taco Bell into something digestible.

Okay you have issue with suspending disbelief for these items but have no problem with the main "villain" in this episode - a genetically enhanced moleman? -ohbfrank-

Good episode last night. No real answers to anything, but entertaining throughout. Reminded me of The Descent. ;)

What's with Josh Jackson's superhero pose in the pic in the first post?

The house reminded me of the Peacock's house from the "Home" episode of The X-Files. Can't say that I really dug this episode as it just seemed to far removed from the style that Fringe established last season. If this is the new direction my interest will fade quickly.

Yes! It's very clever.

I still maintain that I DON'T like Fringe "Monster" episodes, but I like the show so much I let them slide.
