This morning on the radio the showbiz guy on KROQ was raving about this after seeing a screener of the episode. I'm going to miss part of it since I have a class tonight, but I can't wait.

FYI, the House premiere will run an extra minute longer. If you have a DVR conflict because of the extra minute, I think you should be okay w/out adding it unless it's already programmed by a Season Pass. It will probably only cut off the scenes from next week's episode.

Just a reminder too for anyone who may miss this episode that you should be sure to record it if you can because FOX still has their ridiculous 8-day moratorium in effect before putting an episode online, so it won't show up online until the day after the next episode broadcasts.
(I could even understand as much as a 6-day moratorium, but 8-days is just a complete failure to understand how online viewing can bring on new fans to the show.)

Forces people who miss the eps to watch the series online only til they learn from their mistake and start next season on time? I got nothing.

At least house has breaks during the season. You're screwed if you're watching 24 which I think has no breaks.

If you miss episode 4, you can laways record episode 5 the following Monday, watch epsiode 4 when it goes online Tuesday, then watch your recorded episode 5 sometime before episode 6 airs the following Monday. So you're not completely screwed. I do agree that the 8-day moritorium is ridiculous, though.

Lola has put on a little weight (not really, but she was super ridiculously skinny in the past), must have stopped running. Actually, she's cuter this way.
This is kind of weird, it's like a House movie.

What an absolutely lame way to end the season starter (at least, with 10 minutes left... the whole music box thing.)
That said, the ad for Where The Wild Things Are? (Looks absolutely amazing in high def)

I thought that was one of the best House eps yet. Something completely different from the normal house episode routine, which I was getting a little tired of last season.

I didn't dislike it but it felt like it meandered a bit. I just didn't really care what was happening in a few scenes and his wannabe rapper roommate made me cringe. Enjoyed the character dynamics though (Potente, Laurie and the psych doc).

The music box thing was uber lame, but I agree that the scenes between House and the Run Lola Run woman were great. I only wish they had dragged out that little romantic storyline for a few more episodes.
Overall, pretty good for a psych ward setting that at least didn't stoop to an Awakenings / K-Pax level of buffoonery, but I'm so glad he's outta there!

Just glad to have House back, hitting rock bottom in his psyche, but working his way back out of the darkness in his soul.

I'm 1 hr 15min in and I gotta say...it's tough staying with this premiere. I love seeing "Lola" and Andre Braugher, but this ep is dragging.

"Is suicide taboo? If I broke a rule on my first day in group I'll kill myself?"
I liked it, it was a good change of pace.
