Synopsis:

Spoiler:

Will forms an all-male a cappella group, but when he neglects the glee club, the kids decide to hire a well-known choreographer to coach them. Meanwhile, Mercedes falls in love. Josh Groban appears as himself.

Last week's episode was so fricking good, especially the music. However, I wasn't crazy about the fake pregnancy storyline with Will and Terri. I really hope they don't drag that out too long.

Agreed. I would be happy if they got rid of the wife character (unless they do something better with her).

Is the music you're talking about original songs for the show that the glee club performs, or covers of other songs?

The creators talked a few weeks back and announced that they will only use pop songs, no original songs in the show.

They can drag it out until she's supposed to show, but doesn't. But, I don't mind if they do drag it out a little. With the first episode last week, they set the stage for quite a lot to transpire over time, with pretty much everybody in the cast.

I just bought the newest Glee songs on iTunes and the girl who plays Mercedes can sing her ass off (in Bust Your Windows)!

Is it just me, or is the guy playing the evil choreographer the kid from the beginning of Jurassic Park, who Sam Neill freaked out with the raptor claw?

Good call. Looks like you're right.

This episode was definitely not on par with the last 2. I did think the part with Groban was pretty funny, and I Wanna Sex You Up was great.

He was also Alice's whiny little brat in Nightmare on Elm Street 5.

I was DYING watching this episode. When Josh Groban showed up and
Spoiler:
presented that restraining order to Sandy with the extended list of why

had to have been the funniest and most jaw-droppingly awkward moment I've seen on primetime comedy TV since Bree and Andrew aired out their dirty laundry in front of her father/stepmother in season 2 of Desperate Housewives.

I agree but it still had it's moments. The looks on Jane Lynch's face always make me laugh.

I really liked tonight's episode. It was cool that Kurt and Mercedes got a little more screen time in the episode.

the only thing that takes me out a bit is knowing most actors are not singing their parts. right? does that bother anyone else?

I don't think that's right. It's just that their lip-syncing to their own recording isn't always on the mark.

Everybody is singing their part but they're lipsyncing to songs they have previously recorded in the studio.

I agree that this ep wasn't up to the level of the first 2, but still had some good moments.

Josh Grobin trying to pick up Will's mom and Sue getting Emma to quit rambling were good.

Yeah it wasn't as LOL funny as the last ep but it was still good.

Obviously this was an attempt a a joke. I thought it worked. I was rolling on the floor with the dance moves for "Sex You Up" considering it was a high school parents assembly. A little risque? No, not at all. Why shouldn't a dismissed, sexually teacher be performing in the school auditorium?

I agree that Sex You Up was great. But the group of people I was watching with were pretty much silent (other than a few of Sue's lines) until then.

Especially one week after the kids got into so much trouble for their comparatively tame take on "Push It".

makes one appreciate the 1980's TV show 'Fame' where ALL the songs were original ones.

'Bust Your Window's was great - it was very 'Chicago-ish' in that the song didn't happen in the reality of the show, but was internalized for the character and us the viewer.

I thought this ep was just as good as the first two - Acafellas was hilarious.... the BBD song and "This is How We Do it" part had me laughing my ass off.

I enjoyed it, but it's still more risque than I prefer for what's being billed as a "family comedy." No way I'd want my little ones watching.

I disagree on the "I Wanna Sex You Up" being good. I enjoy the comedy, but c'mon--no way teachers and male students going to perform that song together at a PTA meeting, especially after being reamed last week for the assembly. They'd all be fired and it'd be a national controversy on FoxNews. I thought it crossed the line between funny and stupid on that one.
