Caught up with the DVD release here a few weeks ago and can't friggin' wait! The last 4 episodes of Season 1 kicked my teeth in. I can't imagine having to have been waiting since last December for tonight.

Great fucking show! Totally leads into what can be a great season 2 to follow up a what I thought was a great first season.

All the hooks to get you into the big storylines (so far) for season 2 were there and just makes you wait for next Tuesday with a ton of anticipation.

Not to mention Jax, I mean it is his mother after all. Actually, that's a really nice device for them to put the end of last season stuff on the back burner and Clay and Jax will have something to unite over for this season.

The Michael Myers masks at the end made me , which stole some of the power of that scene. But, yeah, there will be hell to pay.

Great start for the season. I hope Henry Rollins is given a bigger role in future episodes.

I was thinking the same thing - while it's nice to maintain the undertone of the rift, I was hoping that it would not be front and center in every episode and this may be a way around that for awhile.

The one thing that bothered me was the father letting Jax handle Clay on the killing of Opie's wife - he seems like an old school guy and I'm surprised he'd defer to Jax on it.

Great start to the season. I was a little confused as to how they singled out the one Mayan to be the fall guy for Opie's wife's death.

I think the implication is that no matter how much he liked his daughter-in-law, SAMCRO is more important to him, and Jax taking control away from Clay and returning to John's vision is his ultimate goal.

Great episode. This season looks like it is going to be good. Henry Rollins was really convincing. I also loved the set up at the end how her first instinct was to grab her gun and that was the right one.

Right. And I think since he's an old timer he's able to have a long term outlook as oppossed to jumping as soon as possible. But, that being said, they did show him being impatient already, and I'm sure that'll be an eventual problem. I'm guessing he doesn't make it out of the season.
