I'd love for once for a big name actor (for a show like this Beihn is big name even if he isn't in the grand scheme of hollywood) to be on a show like this and not be the bad guy
and opening fire like that and shooting the chemicals in a meth house is a good way to die in a fire |

and they definitely are wrapping up cases too fast
they really need to start having 2 parters or some kind of arc |

The UC gained the confidence of the dirty cop/team way too quickly... no? Also did an experienced UC agent really confuse the drug dealer reaching for a remote with reaching for a gun? I know it was useful in helping to explain away how he could rapidly be taken in by the team, but I was shaking my head when it happened (and wondering if it was intentional). |
Re: Dark Blue -- "O.I.S." -- 8/26/09
Being that this is a Jerry Bruckheimer TV Production, I think this show was developed and conceived as a weekly self contained procedural. However, I do see your points that extending the arcs and making the undercover operations more complex & stretching over 2-3 episodes could benefit the show more and not make the end of each episode feel so rushed.

I agree with the above about arcs. If this was set up like 'Wiseguy', it would be even better.
I really like the show, though. I like Dean's character better than Ty (Ty reminds me too much of that putz Eriq 'I turned down 30 million and now have no career' LaSalle). |

I liked this episode alot and thought Michael Biehn was great. However, it did feel really rushed. The ending felt just way too neat and tidy. This type of plot deserved at least 90 minutes of content or 2 episodes. The opening shootout was good stuff.
