Re: Hoarders (Mondays on A&E)
I would think it is a deep emotional problem to live in such filth and have problems with throwing out Aunt Ida's 10 year old spork from the local KFC. Bizarre, maddening, sad.
By the way, I have no problems eating while watching this show. Do I need Dr. Robin Z.?

Re: Hoarders (Mondays on A&E)
Sherry was a terrible waste of life who refused to take responsibility for ANYTHING, including her health. Having those medical syringes strewn all over the place was inexcusable. She blamed the kids for the mess, yet it was mostly her garbage and the daughter just let it continue to pile up because she wanted to avoid the mother's tirades. I agree with the husband: she is just using those kids to qualify for more government assistance. And the nerve of her to call that therapist a bitch after she dared to suggest that as the parent she should receive SOME blame for that roach motel of a home. The real kicker was when she decided to plop her ass down right in the middle of the clean up to take a nap after her hard day of doing nothing. This broad should have her victim card revoked, because she's used it one time too many.
Perhaps it wasn't as offensive as the crazy animal hoarders who keep their pets in stacked cages, but those folks are usually quite disturbed. Sherry seemed well aware of her living situation and was just exaggerating her various illnesses as an excuse to be a slob and punish her "ungrateful" children. She was nothing but a stone cold bitch and should have had those kids taken from her. I'm shocked CPS wasn't called after the exterminators showed up.

Just watched the episode with the Mice last night.... funny how the exterminator implied how the lady was letting the mice that were trapped loose

Anyone else catch the last episode, which ran 2 hours? Probably the most compelling episode of this show that I have seen. The woman was absolutely intransigent. The new owners were more than patient with and accommodating to her, as were Zasio, Matt, and the friends the woman rounded up to help her pack as much of her shit as she could.
