Re: Pawn Stars on History Channel

Chum is rapidly shrinking. You can really see it in current episodes.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/ar...irlfriend.html

Plus-size reality star Austin 'Chumlee' Russell has lost 75lbs thanks to his slender chef girlfriend.

The 31-year-old, who is known for his humorous antics on the hit TV series Pawn Stars, started dating culinary whizz Tany Hyjazi last year and has been shedding the pounds ever since.

He debuted his slimmer physique on the beach this New Year's while on vacation in Hawaii.

One Instagram photo shows him emerging from the ocean dressed in board shorts and a tank top, smiling at the camera.

A bikini-clad Ms Hyjazi is seen by his side, with her breast implants - a birthday present from Russell - on display.

Fans were quick to compliment Russell on his new look, with many commenting that he looks 'great'.

He's loosing it a lot faster than "Big Hoss" - who had the stomach stapling done.

Also, anyone notice that Chum's voice seems to sound different now? On a few recent episodes, it sort of sounded more higher pitched?

He looks like a freakin' bobble head now.

Not a good look, but he'll likely live past 35 now.

Think I would rate Skiba as a better, more of likable character than Corey. Lol

Also, i kind of love Lili the intern for some reason.

I noticed the same. He sounds like he's got way more energy.

Good for him.

His voice is different from all his new fake teeth. The blinding white is a little to much jesus.

Yeah I noticed that Chum's voice sounds different too. Seems mainly noticeable to me in the in between segments when he's talking directly to the camera.

Reminds me of women who get fake boobs and go with a size that is more comical than attractive. He is starting to look cartoonish. More cartoonish.

Re: Pawn Stars on History Channel

He said so in Rick's book. Rick wrote the bulk of his book but there are individual chapters by The Old Man, Corey and Chum. They are completely out of character from the show. Both boys had meth habits. Chum quit on will power, if you can believe it, and Corey moved in with his maternal mother in Santa Rosa, CA. He said there was a Carl's Jr. across the street from her house, and every time he had a meth craving, he went and had a double bacon burger. He broke his habit and gained 100 pounds in the process.

I'm partially kidding. I know both guys had drug problems in the past. My joke was mainly that it is clear neither of them is using now, since they are so fat.

Re: Pawn Stars on History Channel

This show has gotten so bad. It should be renamed "The Whacky Adventures of Chumlee" because every episode has him doing something sneaky and dumb. It's gotten so much more scripted than the first few seasons. They are also scripting little skits to advertise products. If anyone caught tonight's episode they plugged some phone gadget called Ooma which of course revolved around that crazy and kooky chumlee. It was so bad it was almost obnoxious.

This new series they're doing Pawnography is sort of lame too. Contestants face off against Rick, Cory, and Chumlee for chances to win stuff from the pawn shop and cash. I will agree that Pawn Stars has went downhill too. It's really just junkfood tv at this point but I continue to watch.

It's so bad it is essentially unwatchable. One has to wonder if the change was from History or something the ever expanding egos of the "stars" forced. It has like 5 minutes of actual content, and it seems all of the items as well are planted and staged. I don't watch any more.

Yes, I saw commercials for this show and it looks like another POS. The contestants are trying to win Rick's possessions. Am I supposed to believe Rick would actually give his shit away?

Even the way they negotiate is so obviously scripted. It's the same shit all the time. Guy brings in an item. Rick calls it interesting and asks how much the guy wants. The guy names his price. Rick says 'well I have no idea so lemme call in my expert'. Why fkn ask how much the guy wants for the item to begin with then?

In case they don't know what they have and only ask for like $10. The show it totally scripted but I'm sure that's how all pawn brokers start negotiations.

The show has always been heavily scripted. Even in the first season, paid actors were used. A lot of times the person bringing in the item is not the real owner of the item.

I think the guys had a lot more appeal when they could come off as just average hard working dudes in a pawn shop. Now they are big celebrities so it's hard to maintain the illusion that they are really working in the shop.

Oh, but that has to be gold with Rick's fake laughing and negotiating with contestants. I wish I could see that but I recently dumped cable.

Re: Pawn Stars on History Channel

Apparently now they have porn stars on Pawn Stars.

This is the guy that sold the survival truck on tonight's episode. He also played a bit part in Entourage.

Re: Pawn Stars on History Channel

I used to watch this regularly every week but now that they're trying to turn it into a sitcom I've stopped tuning in. I don't care to spend 15 minutes watching Rick go out and buy his slut for a daughter a 30k Mercedes.
