Better Off Ted - June 30, 2009
Things get a little crazy after a toxic leak forces everyone to share office space.
Lots of great stuff in this episode.
Lem's unfortunate aim of the God Machine.
The unfortunate acronyms that involved the word Acid.
Linda's stretch after moving into Ted's office.
Veronica's stress relievers - think karate kicks and silencers.
The message taped to Linda's butt at the end of the episode.

I thought it was good.
Veronica telling Phil he got a promotion, Phil telling her he was promoted to that position last year, and her telling him it was a mistake and he probably owes the company money was great
Loved Lem at the end taking her dry cleaning to her, seeing the other guy there, and asking for the $12

I thought this started off slow, but then was hilarious through the second half. The Ted/Linda exchanges were top notch.

Finally watched this morning and it was real good. This show has hit a stride very early on. Sometimes comedies only have enough funny lines the first season to keep you hooked and then finally finds itself later. But honestly this show feels like they have been around a long time and it comes naturally this would really have to go down down hill next season for me to stop liking it .

My wife was in hysterics during the "MacGuyver and the Diver" sequence. It was just one great joke after another. Linda was the funniest she's ever been.
Love this show.

Since we didn't get a new episode, I just have to say ...
This is the funniest show of the 2008-2009 season.
30 Rock was brilliant, but the star cameos marred the season. The Office was on and off, almost every other episode. HIMYM ... meh. BBT was darn funny, but never climbed out of the box to take risks.
Better Off Ted took risks and delivered. It rarely failed to deliver the funny and often made me spit my beer or at the very least, left me open mouthed in disbelief at the outrageous premise.

I just watched this yesterday. Love the show, glad it was renewed.
Are they showing the episodes out of order, though? It seemed like Linda would already know why Ted's wife left, and the boyfriend thing hadn't been referenced in some time. I guess it's just been too long between episodes or something.
Was the toxic gunk dropping into the fishbowl before Linda moved it, and she just didn't notice it before because the fishbowl was there?

They have aired the show slightly out of order, though the last episode was the most recent episode:

The fight club one was shown later than it should have been, and they still have the 5th episode produced (1ACX04) that they haven't aired.
