Did anyone watch Beyond Belief:Fact or Fiction

I loved this show. Chiller will be airing on Saturdays. I was wondering there were any fans here.

With Jonathan Frakes? I used to watch it occasionally, though I was fairly certain nearly every 'fact' story was most likely fiction.

It was an enjoyable show, but the fact stories were clearly embellished.

Paranormal shows were better in the 90s. Alien Autopsy (even though it was a fraud), Sightings, Encounters, History's Mysteries etc. were all way better than Ghost Hunters, UFO Hunters, Most Haunted, etc.
In Search Of... was of course the best of all. I want that on DVD.

I totally agree with you I loved those shows. There are some Sightings episodes on YouTube. That show was scary to watch sometimes. I also saw episodes of In Search Of on Sci-Fi a few years ago. That show was great. Did you like Unsolved Mysteries?

Re: Did anyone watch Beyond Belief:Fact or Fiction

The thing I liked about Beyond Belief was that some of stories were scary but others were heartwarming.

Re: Did anyone watch Beyond Belief:Fact or Fiction

Frakes was awesome. However, some of the fact stories were clearly garbage. I remember in particular one of the tales ended as having the person that was telling the story in the first person narrative dying (probably like getting killed by a ghost or something). If so, how was the end of the story communicated to others and then verified? I know it is a nitpick, but it was annoying.

I love this show. Pure cheese entertainment. Glad it's back on; I was disappointed when Sci-Fi took it off the air a few years ago.

Re: Did anyone watch Beyond Belief:Fact or Fiction

I always liked how Frakes revealed what was fact and what was fiction at the end.

"If you thought this story wasn't not based on facts... then you were wrong."
