I thought last season was fairly decent, better than Season 3 by a longshot...but there is definitely room for improvement, so hopefully this is more on par with Season 2. Can't wait.

S1 and S2 were great... but the last 2 seasons were terrible (S3 being the worst). I hope the quality level is up to the first two seasons - but I really doubt that'll be the case.

Mary-Louise Parker has admitted that she does not have a problem doing on screen nudity.

The Weeds actress reacted to recent reports that suggested she regretted doing a nude scene in the show's season finale.

"They made it sound like I was like, 'They made me take my clothes off and chained me to the bathtub'," TV Guide quote her as saying.

The speculation arose from an interview Parker did with More magazine, in which she revealed that she "fought with the director about" doing the scene.

"[The article] made it seem like we were fighting, and nobody's fighting. I was talking about that scene as an example of something I didn't love as much when I saw it because they kept cutting back and I was naked, but they (the producers) liked the position of it."

The Fried Green Tomatoes star added that she will be featured unclothed in the August edition of Esquire.

"I mean, if you know me, it's like, someone sneezes and I take my clothes off," she said. "I'm naked in Esquire in August. I was naked on the set the other day. I'm always naked.

I liked the season premiere too. The wife and me watched the season finale, from last year, and boy I really missed Weeds. I had a smile in my face the whole hour (finale and premiere).

And yeah, next week looks good too.

Last two seasons were pretty bad (except for Silas stripping) but I have higher hopes for this year.

great episode all around. funny, emotional, funny. i loved the Michael Franti dance sequence at the end!

What did that guy call it when Nancy asked what was going on? I assumed it was one of those experimental theater groups that go into character in public (can't think of what they're called), but didn't understand why it was in the episode? But I was able to let it pass and enjoy it because I'm a huge Michael Franti fan.

Overall it was an okay episode with Doug once again saving the show. I just hope the Nancy-baby-Esteban storyline doesn't last the entire season.

Cool, thanks for that. I've seen a documentary, or something of the sort, where they had those kind of performances. They were in department stores, malls, parks, etc. The one I remember was in some department store and everyone was going about their business when all of the sudden everyone involved froze. The people uninvolved just kept looking around thinking they were going crazy. After about 5 minutes the 'actors' began to move again like nothing ever happened. I'll try to find a video of it on youtube.

that sounds really cool and i would love to see that doc.

i think the sequence was just a random/no explanation needed scene to break the tension of the ep, especially for Nancy. she had a few minutes of fun and then show the chilling realization with Cesar watching her. hauntingly good.
