Maybe, though the OP said Newman from Seinfeld was allowed. He was in ~ 45 Seinfeld Episodes. Lionel Hutz was in ~30 Simpsons Episodes. Then again, Simpsons has like 400+

Most of Hutz's appearances were a line or two, whereas Newman was frequently involved in the main storyline. He did seem to be stepping up his appearances and status before Hartman passed away.

Looking through the pages, there are so many characters I forgot about and would have included. I also was on-the-fence about including "The Lone Gunmen" from The X-Files, even though they are three separate individuals, they themselves always functioned as one character with different skills and personalities.

I know they aren't the same show, but I mean, Angel is in Buffy for three seasons; I don't see why for a show like that it can't be combined.

It'd be different if I said Willow, because she is primarily a Buffy character, showing up only here and there in Angel.

Wow, there are a ton of lists. Keep them coming. I will most likely get to work on the master list later tonight or tomorrow. I am hoping Homer is not a lock for this one. Jack Bauer should be a force. Some of the earlier round matchups should be very fun in this tourney.

As far as the semi-regular status goes, I am going to leave that up to your own discretion. If the character is important enough for you to list, then feel free, but just keep in mind if it doesn't get a second tally it won't make the tourney.

As far as Angel and Frasier type characters go, you really don't have to worry about which show since they are the same character played by the same actor. I am more or less talking about shows like remakes like Dr. Who and BSG. Where you might have the same character, but played by two different actors. Hopefully that makes sense.
