I never noticed it before, but Wesley (Will Holly) is only credited as Wesley. Anyone know why that was?

If I remember, his last name is "Eure" and since it was kinda odd they just went with Wesley. He was on a soap opera at the same time as well. My GF contributed that part.

I'm pretty sure I always knew his last name from watching this series. Did he get the single name credit for just one season?

He was a big star in the mid to late 70s and I even vaguely recall him on some daytime game show too. Password, I think.

Had a lot of fun watching. Although the sets were little more than cardboard & paint, and the acting was mostly awful, they had some darn good stories.

I didn't watch the final episode this past weekend, but IIRC
Spoiler:
there was no closure. They never went home.

It's the American Doctor Who!

I tuned in for a couple of these (haven't seen them in 30 years) and they're surprisingly watchable.

The 1991 remake was originally supposed to be a continuation of the show with The Porters...

Spoiler:

meeting and becoming friends with the now adult Holly and grown Cha-Ka. When it was decided to make this show a complete remake, the Holly character was changed to Christa and Cha-Ka completely dropped.

No matter what I put in my body yesterday, I could not make any sense out of this show.

I'd never seen this show before so I tuned in for a couple episodes. Terrible acting and sets, but still fairly enjoyable.

Re: "Land of the Lost" (1974) Marathon on SciFi Memorial Day 5/26!

what happened with Spencer Milligan (Rick Marshall) that he left the show and they brought in that dull Uncle Jack and changed the theme which hurt when listening to? just too good for him or what?

Re: "Land of the Lost" (1974) Marathon on SciFi Memorial Day 5/26!

I'm so glad I grabbed a ton of these in Tivo for watching and rewatching. It was bugging me yesterday that I recognized the voice of Enik (supa-sleestak in the glittery orange)...its the guy that did a voice on Avatar, very distinctive. Thank you IMDB for solving that riddle.

Milligan supposedly left because of salary dispute - hence why no big goodbye/closure on that front. I wish SciFi would put this in regular rotation as I can't afford the set right now and would love a regular dose of Krofft.

Westley sang the theme song the last season.

Re: "Land of the Lost" (1974) Marathon on SciFi Memorial Day 5/26!

I watched a few episodes the other day. I remember watching the show when I was 5 yrs old. It really brought back the memories. I didn't remember the episode "Circle" though.
Spoiler:
I didn't realize Rick, Will and Holly went back to their time and another set of Rick, Will and Holly took their place in the Land of the Lost.

I watched a half an episode on Hulu, the show is really really bad. This qualified as entertainment in the 60s? Glad that my generation had ninja turtles and power rangers.
