Wayyyy stronger finale than Lost, IMHO. I look forward to Fringe just about as much as Lost, as well.

I hate to think Jones is really gone (technically only half of him is, I guess)
He was such a wonderfully evil villain..

Loved it!

This show just kept getting better and better all season.

It has moved into #1 Slot behind Lost, Bravo JJ&Co.

I think Walter went into the other dimension and grabbed that Peter when his original Peter died.

Can't wait for Season 2.. and unlike Lost, we should be able to jump into this thing in the Fall.

Great Stuff.

Hmm... I wonder why the stock market has been closed since late April.

I thought I was the only one that thought the Lost finale was weak. This Was much better.

Yeah, whoever dreamed up that front page had fun imagining some good what-if's.

I was actually disapointed in the finale, aside from the last five minutes or so. They spent way too long on Nina Sharpe needlessly giving everyone the run around, the confrontation with David Robert Jones lacked any dramatic tension, and I didn't feel the "answers" regarding the Observer that the preview "promised" were very satisfying (so he really IS the Watcher from Marvel). I loved this show all season, but I feel that it's year ended with a whimper, unfortunately.

This series really picked up steam half way through BUT i am not really into the Sliders direction. Sliders have done this storyline to death to the extent that it is totally ruined

I don't really understand the backlash for the Lost finale, as I loved that one too, but I really liked this finale! Also thought the final shot was quite ballsy of them, which I fully support...

Some interesting casting news.

Spoiler:

Apparently Kirk Acevedo, who plays Charlie, was let go from the show.

DJariya, please spoilerize it. (I spoilerized it when quoting you as it discusses future casting decisions not revealed on the epiodes yet.)

Spoiler:
That lame hat was his downfall. I liked him.

Okay, I didn't really think an actor being let go after the season was completed was really a spoiler. It will probably be official in the next few weeks/months.

I assume they want to slash some costs.

Yeah, cost cutting seem to be the only reason for the departure.

That stinks. I thought he offered some good balance to the show.

It's not really a huge spoiler because it's not like he still has a few eps left and his character is going to be killed or something... I expect we'll just get a one liner from someone about how he got transferred or something. WEAK news...I liked his relationship with Olivia and think he adds something to the show - if they were just going to fire him, they should have let him die in that monster episode a few weeks ago.

Not even. Since we're now in the parallel, he could just be dead. Still I agree, he wasn't used as much as I'd have expected but he was a great "grounding" character which I'd expected them to employ heavily when Olivia is trying to sort everything out next season. Rats.

I'm guessing it ties into the glimpses of the alternate Boston we saw in either this episode or the prior episode. Buildings all on fire and it looked like other chaotic stuff going on. Maybe they're related?

Whoops, it looks like that casting news might not be true (even though it was from the actor himself)?

I don't know what's going on.

I didn't hate him, but I also think he was a non-entity. Producers could bring some one new in who could offer something more to a similar role. He really didn't show much in the personality department. You could blame the writers, but a good actor would make the role special.

That being said, it was probably cost cutting
