I guess they don't have to explain a cure for Jack at all this season. I'm guessing they can just have the condition get worse and they may even end the season with him going into a seizure (pure speculation). Assuming there is another season, they can figure out how he got cured and just state it in the beginning of Day 8.

^ If they somehow twist it so that Tony is a good guy again even Vince McMahon would be jealous at how many times Tony made the heel to face turn.

The ONLY way that works is if everything after the arrest of Jonas is going on in Jack's head. And that ain't gonna happen.

I think it's possible to do that and I hope that they do. Tony is awesome and I think that he's really going to be so devoted that he will do anything to topple that secret organization.

Fingers crossed for Tony to reveal his true allegences!

They had an article about Day 8 in a past issue of Entertainment Weekly

First details about 24: Season 8
*Reveals a location change, a returning government organization, and new and old cast members

Since last week seemed like a "setting up the details" episode, this week should be a lot better.

Like i said in the previous episode thread, I think Tony still has the cip device and will use it at the end of the season within the last two hours possibly involving Kim in some way.

How did you know there would be a connection Goat? lol

But seriously, I think he did escape the explosion, but we won't see him until next season. I think they were telling us this by showing his sleight of hand with the picture (I just wish the picture was of Angelina and Brad w/about 50 kids in the background).

I have it on good authority that the president's daughter will lose her job and end up waiting tables in Miami.

I definitely think that Olivia's contact figured one way or another he could use her having Hodgins assassinated to benefit himself. Sure, she didn't transfer the $250,000, but I think that would've just been an added bonus. They want to blackmail her, I'd imagine.

Spoilered just in case anyone doesn't want a possible, hypothetical conclusion to the 24 Series.

[spoiler[I know that Kiefer Sutherland has signed on for at least Season 8 and the movie. It's possible that they will have Day 8 take place soon after Day 7 and Jack still sick. Then the Movie will happen and in that Jack will finally succumb to the illness or sacrifice himself because he knows his death is imminent.[/spoiler]

I doubt they will go that route, but it is a possibility.

This is just ridiculous. Have we really become this anal when it comes to spoilers? If its regarding what happens in next weeks episode previews or news on upcoming plot points then yes a spoiler is required. But for someones thoughts on what might happen? I'm sorry but that's not a spoiler just a prediction.

No offense, but I think that would be dumb. I'm already sick of sick Jack. I mean he's been kinda out of it for the last what...4 or 5 hours and that can only go so far. I'd really hate it if I'd have to put up with him making mistakes and losing his train of thought for an entire season.

I'm thinking "the group" had him killed. He was going to die whether Olivia contacted the hitman or not so there's no reason for her to feel guilty about anything.

I don't think so. I suppose he could have found the time since Olivia first brought it up last episode-- and since this is 24, he wouldn't even have to logically find the time-- but I don't think Aaron would do that.

I agree it would be dumb and I hope they don't go that route. It is possible though, given the fact that they are probably going to wrap up the series with another season and a movie. And I highly doubt that Jack is going to "live happily ever after."

Yeah, I really doubt Aaron did that. Like I posted above, I think it is more likely that Olivia's contact had his guy go through with it for some ulterior motive, such as blackmail. Either that, or the Organization has ties to her contact and took care of it themselves.
