Spoiler:

Only 200? I know that he started late but only 200?
I hope they explain that.

;)

 at 200. He said he started at 23 and he's 30 now. I wish I could take down 28 a year.

Yeah, me too. But at an average of two women a week though, that's very un-Barney-like. No?

Marshall's charts were hilarious.

These episodes where we see why things happened the way they did are my favorites.

Since the woman is Stella, is she the mother?

"This is a pie chart of my favorite bars, and this is a bar graph of my favorite pies"

Everyone having the same reaction to Barney was good as well.

Chart showed 16 years, so he started at 14.

No, but this next storyline with Stella means that he meets her, I think. (We'll finally be seeing the mom next season).

Yeah but he did only have a ~1% success rate. I'm sure his hit-on rate was significantly higher. By the way, the pie chart for that calculation was my favorite.
#200

Yeah which is a very rare continuity error for this show. It's been mentioned twice in the series that Barney was a slow starter and lost his v card when he was 23 or 24.

I liked the callback to the interventions.

Barney is older than 30. They definitely screwed up the years active, unless they're saying he's now 39. But he is older than the rest of the group. He's probably supposed to be 34, 35.

Pie chart for favorite bars. Bar chart for favorite pies.

Why isn't Stella the mother? I thought he was telling his kids that's how he bumped into their mother - right place, right time.

I have to go back and check but I believe in the episode where Ted turns 30 it's revealed that Barney is also 30. I can't be sure of that but I am pretty sure he isn't more than 1 year older than anyone in the group and the rest of them are just hitting 30.

It's just another twist they're throwing at us. I wouldn't be surprised that Ted meets the mom through Stella. All we really got from this episode was that him running into Stella somehow leads him to meeting the mother. I'll have to watch the episode again but I believe they were very careful to not say that he ran into the mother.

I really liked how they did the story in this episode with the flashbacks. The charts were hysterical. It's pretty noticeable that Lily isn't there but I didn't miss her too much this episode. The list of Presidents with dirty names was great. If you have DVR pause it and read that list. Bush is listed as #2 and #9

I was just watching an episode earlier where he said he was 31 and at the peak of his sexual prime which was the second season.

I was not expecting Stella to be under that umbrella. I love Sarah Chalke but didn't really care for the Stella storyline. :(

Loved the layout of the ep though. And I did notice no Lily. :( Hope she at least gets a minute or two of screen time in the finale, though I'm not holding my breath.

I thought they showed a couple of blonde haired children during the wedding episode showing what would've been if he married her.

Thought the flashbacks were a little much but I did love the call back to the Intervention episode.

Yep, I loved how all the names actually sounded a little dirty, except... Clinton! Dirty by association!

Great episode! I was almost spoilered by a DVDTalker that I have in Facebook.

But yeah, I don't think Stella is the mother. If it was someone else than Stella, would you think it was the mother?

Good episode. The charts were hilarious and I loved the "I'm pregnant" joke after Robin threw up.
