Can't wait!!!

Everyone may want to pad some extra time to the end just in case President Obama's speech runs long.

Obama's 100 days < Lost's 100th episode. He should be careful about this, or he'll have the entire East coast pissed at him instead of just NY.

Tonight's episode, next week's episode, then 2 hours on the 13th. So, technically 4 one hour episodes left.

I read the first paragraph in the spoiler and I've been waiting for weeks to see how this turns out. Can't wait.

Note to President Obama: I like you man, I voted for you, I hope you succeed... but stop fucking with my TV time.

Major spoiler! In fact, I actually haven't even read it myself (it was hard to prepare this without doing so, let me tell you). So it's up to you to read it.

Spoiler:
Yes, Faraday is the son of Widmore & Eloise. Faraday arrives back to the island by sub. He tries to get Chang to evacuate the island by telling him the truth about the island and Miles. He ventures into the Other's camp to talk to his mother who shoots and kills him prior to talking to him. Eloise is not portrayed as a villain because she doesn't know (at the time she kills Faraday) he's her son. She learns of his plans through Jack and Kate, and tries to see them through with the help of Richard.

Fuck, I shouldn't have read that and I don't even have a problem with spoilers. Seriously, read at your own risk.

Re: Lost -- "The Variable" -- 4/29/09 -- 100th Episode!!

Two minor spoilers about tonight.

Spoiler:

# 4/17 - Look for Mrs. Hawking explain stuff like her relationship with Charles Widmore and for Daniel to explain some of the mysteries of the Island. [...] Also present are Penny and Charles Widmore and Charlie Hume (not to be confused with Charlie Pace). As for the variable itself, it will almost certainly tie back to the equations and notations from the blast-door map we saw in season two, which included such bon mots as "Geological composition likely to cause magnetic disturbances/interference with weather project," "Primary nexus of Cerberus-related activity" and the infamous Valenzetti equation. Source: Kristin on E!Online

# 02/12 - This episode is a direct follow up from "The Constant." It continues with Desmond's and Daniel's adventures. We get more info on Daniel's notebook statement "Desmond is my Constant." The early planning of this episode may explain why Desmond left the army. Source: Lost Spoilers

Title alone reminds me of the amazing The Constant episode last season. Hopefully this is not the exact opposite in quality.

Carlton seems to think it's one of the best episodes of the season, and he and Damon do consider it the 'B-Side' thematically to 'The Constant'. This all has the combined effect of getting me really pumped for this one.

No interest on reading the spoilers.

I'm really pumped about tonight's show. I'm sure I'll be shitting bricks by the end of the episode.

No kidding. Oh well, I can't un-read it. But for anyone who has even the slightest reservation about reading spoilers: definitely DO NOT read that one.

Re: Lost -- "The Variable" -- 4/29/09 -- 100th Episode!!

I seriously have no clue why people read spoilers for any show especially this one.

When you read a book, do you occasionally skip ahead a few chapters to see what your favorite characters are up to? NO! You read it from beginning to end. Just like all stories. A-Z baby.

Anyway, I just re-watched the last episode in prep for this one and was curious why Chang was so upset with one of the workers at the Orchid site after talking to Miles and Hurley.

Also, in the bunch of scientists that came out of the sub at the end, I wonder if Degroot or Hanso was there. There was a brief shot with a few of them on the pier.

FWIW, even I didn't read the big one. It's all about your peripherals.

I do! I do! I'm awful about spoilers even though they've burned me soooo many times. I went so overboard with Attack of the Clones, I ended up not enjoying it at all. So I went spoiler free for Revenge of the Sith.

That was the last time I've gone spoiler free.

Hey, it wasn't spoilers that ruined those movies.

Go watch the season finale of Heroes (or any episode from this or the previous season) and you'll forget even your name.

Not knowing the spoilers wouldn't have saved Attack of the Clones, that movie was truly awful.

The execution of the flashbacks in this ep are really, really heavy handed.
