I never saw the question asked before, but it's Maya.

I know the shapeshifting/clothes changing issue has been brought up, but it just has to be mentioned again. In the finale they show Sylar changing into Nathan's shirt and tie, but then later he shifts to Claire and is wearing her outfit. And the "Oh...the spot that kills me...yeah, that moved"....it's the back of the head, how fucking far could it move?

So they told us a character would die for good, but did they really? No...but they did manage to do the opposite and bring back ANOTHER character that WON'T die.

This show is like a bowel movement. Sometimes you can't help looking at it, but then you want to flush it away as soon as possible. And then if it's particularly bad, you feel the need to tell your friends about it.

While I applaud the creativity of making Sylar into Nathan, how is this going to work? I mean... Sylar can't fly can he? The first time he tries to fly, he is going to realize that something isn't right. Add to that that he'll heal everything he gets a cut. Plus any other of the bajillion powers that Sylar has will start to manifest.

And how exactly did Peter manage to replace the president? Who set that up in such a short time?

The whole "oh noes," Hiro won't be able to eff with time anymore just came off as very forced for the sole purpose of neutering his power for future storylines.
They have been missing with his powers in some way since the first season, and he was only given back freezing time, just let him have his power, I would also add back teleportation, time travel is fun, we can live without that.

That bothered me too. I can accept that a shape shifter can change his clothes as well but why did Sylar go through the trouble of actually putting on Nathan's clothes?

Ma Petrlli gets to California picks up Parkman and gets back to DC all in a couple of hours?

So Peter can only steal one of Sylar's abilities? That makes no sense at all. If anything it should have been Sylar's ability to take other people's powers because that is in reality Sylar's only ability.

Loved the Return of the Jedi ending.

At the end of last week Hiro couldn't stop time but this week he can do it again but just gets nose bleeds?

I enjoyed it but there is just so much lazy writing that it gets distracting.

Oh... and +1 for Parkman's use of Doctor Who's psychic paper.

I was hoping they'd play the "Ewok Song" during the cremation sequence.

Its possible he absorbed Sylar's powers after he got hurt - meaning it wouldn't heal his previous wounds? (And why did Peter just touch Claire?)

After a big box office of "Obsessed" I'm sure that's a good thing for the show.

Every single episode makes me feel like the writers have no idea where to take this show. I loved the first season but it has been downhill ever since then. Also, every week I watch this I just feel like I am watching a high budget 4400. Only difference is I won't miss Heroes when it's off the air.

I was during that scene

The impression I got was that Peter could only grab one of Sylar's powers rather than the whole lot, and shapeshifting is the one he chose.

But that makes no sense. Sylar's power is to figure out how powers work. He doesn't "absorb" them like Peter. That's Sylar's only power.

I thought Peter was able to re-gain powers again? Didn't he do something (forgot what - he was around Nathan and Tracy but not touching Nathan) and then flew away a few episodes ago? Personally if I was going to fight Sylar I would get Claires power (can't die) and then absorb Sylars shapeshifting. What power did Peter have when he went to go fight Sylar - flying like Nathan? WTF were they gonna do fly him to the moon?

And did anyone think The "President" was blind in the limo? He was looking in the wrong direction.

sylar said in the episode that he can find out something's history just by touching it, so I'm guessing that's why he actually put on nathan's clothes...remember when he was touching that one cuff link and later on claire's necklace right before he told her about mexico?

He said he got that power from Ma Patreli. Is that a power of hers? When did he get this power? I don't remember it.

When she let him eat that one chick back when he was imprisoned by The Company.

One at a time, and he doesn't seem to be able to recall previously held powers. He does seem to be able to control what he pulls in, though -- he can touch someone and not automatically mimic their powers, still holding onto whatever he had before.

Anybody else think that Season 4 would be a lot more entertaining if they just made the show a satire? I think I'd actually tune in for that...

Frankly, I think the show's gotten worse since Fuller returned. Up until then, this chapter had been going pretty well.

Or maybe it was worse and Fuller made it less worse?

Re: Heroes -- "An Invisible Thread" -- Season 3 Finale -- 4/27/09

I actually thought this was a decent episode. Granted, though, I don't analyze the episodes that much, just mainly watch it for the entertainment value.

I only ever caught one or two episodes from season one. I don't recall how Nathan "died" at the conclusion of Volume Two though.

Of course, it still says a lot of the show when the highlights (for me) are when they show HD trailers for the big upcoming movies during the commerical slots. Loved the trailer for Terminator: Salvation that aired during this episode.

After watching Sylar wrestle with himself.. I'm looking forward to his ID wrestling with Nathan's.

No. Not really.

Me too. I may continue to read the avclub's synopses, but actually investing time in watching it is over.
