Looks like you'll have to wait until the wee hours of Tues. morning when they finally get around to airing the show or watch it online when posted. (At least in Cleveland).

Please, please, please let that be. This is turning out not to be my favorite show on the air right now, but one of my favorites ever.

NBC "upfronts" are in 2 weeks IIRC. Chances are looking slim reading various reports online. Looks like Medium/Southland might be what will kill Chuck (besides fucking Leno at 10pm)

Like I said - keep streaming episodes on NBC. I need to write them as well and soon. Unfortuantely this semester is eating up my time, as well as making me think I'm still in March with plenty of time. :(

Seriously, I've never really given a shit before, but I'll be damned if I'll let them cancel Chuck without a fight. Literally, I will NEVER watch NBC again (or at least threaten them with that). But, TBH, I would skip SVU and FNL if they got rid of Chuck. It's the principle, man!

I really do hope all this is a publicity ploy by NBC, but how many NEW viewers would be pulled in by this. (Latest "rumor" is that CW is thinking of picking up Chuck if NBC lets it go.)

BTW, HOLY SHIT is this ep bringing it in the first half hour!

I couldn't shake that feeling either. TBH, and in my highest hopes, they COULD be using this as a big swerve and have Chuck have a new assignment next season. (Or it COULD be the ending.... at least the NBC ending.)

It definitely has an Arrested Development vibe to it. Just a big love letter to the fans in the final hours. It's depressing despite the episode being brilliant and engaging as hell.

The writers dropped plenty more nerd references, btw:
Black Rock = Lost
Starbright = Quantum Leap
Fulcrum Drive-in/underground base = Spies Like Us Drive-in/underground base
Assman = Seinfeld
and of course, the Godfather

I've never been to a breaking point on a show before. I was there when Arrested Development went down but we at least got 3 seasons out of it. Enough is enough with networks canceling quality shows and keeping shit on the air. I'll be giving up a few shows myself if they cancel Chuck. Tivo passes for The Office, Earl, Heroes & Friday Night Lights* will all get deleted. I know there is no guarantee Chuck would get picked up even without the Leno debacle, but as of now, he gets the blame and won't be seen in this house.

*FNL will be easy to find a work around because of the DirectTV deal. I guess the others will have to wait for DVD, if I still care by then.

What the heck is wrong with NBC if they're going to cancel Chuck??!! Chuck deserves to stay on.

Good episode, I thought. I did like Awesome trying to be Awesome and needing to be slapped in order to get focused. :lol:

i also thought they were trying to tie things up neatly, but then i found this. this is a quote from josh schwartz, one of the co-creators of the show, about the season finale.

"If, in two weeks, that is the last episode of the show to ever air, it will be one of the least satisfying finales of all time. Chris Fedak, the guy who created the show, said people will set their living rooms on fire."

I doubt it - but if NBC allowed just ONE more season - I say they bring in Chuck's mom (Hmm....how would be a great mom to Chuck and Ellie?). Have a family thing going on.

But dammit, NBC better pull their heads outta their asses. So they cancel the good shows, but bank it all on Jay Leno? Never watched him during the Tonight Show, and I won't start now. ESPECIALLY if they cancel this great show.

Big props to Ryan McPartlin. He's done a fantastic job this season of making Awesome a 3 dimensional character.

I also want to stay around. Previews made it look like they could go in a different direction for season 3, if you can believe previews.

Awesome having difficulty being "Awesome". Great episode.
