My Soul On Fire - Part 1
Watching it right now. It's pretty good, first part of a two part episode. Love the Tiki Gods, the Greg Brady cameo, and down low touch.
Elliot and Jordan in bikinis! Christa Miller looks damn good for her age.
Of course, the episode begs the question, how is the hospital dealing with the chief, the head nurse, and a large chunk of the staff away at the same time?

Re: Scrubs...?
I'm watching, but I'm just not feeling this season at all.
If you ask me, it's bad in an entirely different way from the last NBC season. The last NBC season was just far too ridiculous, and this season seems to me like it just wanders aimlessly through material that has mostly been done better earlier in the run. It's a pity, really.

They are only gone for three days plus...
Its not a good chunk gone from the hospital. They still have Dr. Mickhead, Dr. Beardface, Dr. Wen, Colonel Doctor, Snoop Dogg, Hooch plus the new interns: Katie, Sunny, Denise, Howie, Charles, and Derek. Seems like a good amount of people to run a hospital.
I loved JD's comment about Carla's beach outfit:
"Its shorts with a mommy suit."
Also, Turk having to go to the bathroom and jumping into a pool. Followed immediately by Elliot scolding him.

As for this series, its not wandering aimlessly. Its working towards the departure of JD and Carla from the hospital. These are the episodes that should have been part of the last season but were shortened by the strike.

Re: Scrubs...?
I've liked this season a lot more than the last one, but that was a really mediocre episode. All the relationship drama was really forced (and dumb). Too bad it's a two-parter.

I loved the first 5 minutes or so, then the rest was okay. Loved Ted saying that Elliot had raped his soul with her rendition of Old McDonald, and of course JD and Turk's down-low bumps.

Agree with this. I really wasn't into this episode. If Eliott is really pissed at JD for what he said she is way beyond crazy. It certainly seemed forced.

Re: Scrubs...?
It seems like sometimes they have done this in the past though, she'll just get mad at him for what I thought was a pretty harmless comment. I liked that she stands up for herself and stuff, but sometimes it goes over the top just to give the show some drama.

Like other posters have said, something is off this season.
The "table" joke was horrendous. It went on FAR too long, for a joke that didn't work from the first second.
The downlow bump was funny, and Jordan on mic singing was absolutely hilarious, but even with those moments, this doesn't feel like Scrubs.

I also liked how JD thought that the toothbrush was sex toy, and Leonard caught him. I guess that Todd's banana hammock was too adult for ABD, since they only showed him from the waist up.

Re: Scrubs...?
I thought that was funny, since we saw his junk about 100 times when the show was on NBC. Sort of weird since we saw bikini-clad Eliot and Jordan just mere moments before.

By far the funniest episode this season. Glad to finally see an episode where no one had the week off.
Several screen shot opportunities. Elliott's "dress" she was wearing gave many teases of nip-slip, but I don't think any ever really happened.

Was this aired out of order? They have this contrived setup that they all need a vacation but didn't JD go to Disney World in the last episode?

I don't think it was aired out of order. Nothing about it seemed out of place, unlike the Season 7 "finale" last year that was produced 4th or 5th from the end.

I thought it was pretty good. Got quite a few chuckles out of it.
@Draven - if you read this thread, we totally need to start making that "bad tiki" noise.

Re: Scrubs...?
Aside from the fact they were outside of the hospital, this episode is the first of the season to really feel more like classic scrubs. I'm sure because the entire traditional cast was there.

Re: Scrubs...?
Technically, it was JD's day off and he went to see his son Sam. They both went to Disneyland, as mentioned before, which upset Turk. Generally, a day off does not count as vacation.
