Okay so wait a minute... now that both the FBI and the President finally came to their senses and realize that Jack was framed and had nothing to do with those two murders, can't Ethan come back? Isn't that the only reason he resigned as Chief of Staff?

wow... I just IMDB'd it... FBI Agent Moss... I could have sworn he was some long lost, 3rd rate brother of Michael Douglas... ala Baldwinitis.

Home stretch now. If these final episodes don't jump the shark, this season is inching ever so close to edging out season 5 for the #2 spot.
I think it was more than that though, and more to do with how much he allowed or gave his approval on in situations that went sour, even if Bauer wasn't the catalyst. Even if Bauer didn't kill the hostage, Ethan did give the approval to 'interrogate' him outside the President's approval. Same for a couple of other situations.

I really hope the president and her daughter gets killed. I can't stand the both of them. That is the only negative with this season.

I doubt the President will be killed. Unless they did a real quick last minute rewrite, it's obvious that the shows creators thought Hillary Clinton was going to be in the White House for at least the next 4 years.

I think it goes beyond that. He gave the order without the Presidents approval only because he knew she would say no. It went sour and a Senator is dead because of it. The press already knows that he went ahead without the Presidents go ahead. It just doesn't look good for him.

I disagree with you. Even though Cherry Jones IMO has been a little rough as President Taylor, I think she has been far superior to DB Woodside last season. I'm a fan of Sprague Grayden, so I can't really bash her character either. For what it's worth, I think she's done a good job playing a backstabbing villainess.

We must've been watching two different episodes then. I really like this one. Very intense standoff with Starkwood and FBI. The only thing i didn't like was the tony part. Not once was he caught. He's just walking around a freaking high security area and no one catches him??? I was waiting for one of the scientists to ask tony to bring em some coffee
Oh and not showing the Presidents daughter in her bra
Other than that it was a good episode.

Based on your description, it sounds like we watched the same episode....
Nothing exciting with jack. It's obvious that kim will come and save him.
Tony just walking around the whole time, nothing exciting there.
Presidents daughter is annoying.
Oh well. I've really enjoyed the season so far, just not a great episode tonight.

At this point, Jon Voight is so over-the-top, he has practically become a Bond villain...and is well on his way to being my favorite 24 villain ever.
