Looks like you're right. Hopefully it's just the season finale and not the series finale. The list of episodes on IMDb seems to indicate they might have 6 more episodes finished, so things aren't looking too good for the show's renewal.

Boy do I miss the days when shows were allowed to die a slow painful death. "Jump the Shark" is about to become obsolete.

That episode was magniflorious! This show is seriously funny. I hope the renewal rumors are more true than not because this may be the only non-NBC sitcom I'll be watching next fall!

I say we break into ABC headquarters and decorate all of their cubicles with a Better Off Ted theme.
[ObSaveMyFavoriteShowCampaignIdea]Or send them photos of our own workspaces decorated with a Better Off Ted theme.[/ObSaveMyFavoriteShowCampaignIdea]

Awesome. This is turning out to be a great season for shows that I like. Usually stuff I like gets canceled during the first season, but with this, Dollhouse, Parks & Recreation, and Lie To Me returning, I must say, I am pretty pleased.

ABC bringing back 'Better off Ted'
'Surviving Suburbia' can't survive new time slot
By MICHAEL SCHNEIDER
ABC is bringing back "Better off Ted" for a summer run, while "Surviving Suburbia" couldn't survive its new time slot.
Alphabet still had six episodes of "Ted" left from its midseason run earlier this year; those segs will now air Tuesdays at 9 p.m. starting June 23, behind new reality competish "The Superstars."
The Victor Fresco-produced laffer, from 20th Century Fox TV, then returns in midseason, where it will be paired with "Scrubs." Alphabet ordered 13 more episodes of "Ted" for next season.
As for "Suburbia," show's remaining segs moved to Wednesday at 9:30 p.m. effective this week but the show's new time period bow averaged just a 1.0 rating and 3 share in the demo.
Starting next week, ABC will instead air back-to-back episodes of new animated comedy "The Goode Family" at 9 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
The Bob Saget starrer "Suburbia" comes from MRC, as does "Goode Family."
Also in the ABC scheduling realm, Alphabet will start airing its remaining original episodes of another recently axed comedy, "Samantha Who," next month. "Samantha" will run Thursdays at 8 p.m. starting June 25, paired at first with ABC's final episodes of "In the Motherhood."
Once the last three episodes of "Motherhood" are run, ABC will pair the "Samantha" originals at 8 with repeats at 8:30.
