Yeah, very sad news. He was great as Lorne and an awesome person overall (met him once when he came to my previous employer to get some work done on an action figure)

OMG! That's certainly unexpected news of someone so young dying due to heart failure. Wow.

Damn. That sucks. I wasn't that into the show but I always watched it when he was around. He was great.

Wow i wasnt expecting that. He was great on Angel. In the article it said Glen Quinn (doyle) died in 2002. Was that the reason he left the show?

I had always wondered what happened to him after the series ended, only learning that he had a health scare not long after, and appeared at various fan conventions.

Very sad.

Quinn was (allegedly) fired from the show in 1999 due to increasing drug-related problems, but nothing has ever been confirmed definitively about that. His death came almost exactly three years after his character Doyle died in the ninth episode of the first season, titled "Hero".

The season 4 episode "Long Day's Journey" was dedicated to him, as it was the first to air after his death.

He was great on the show. RIP. I can still see him remember him reading Angel while he was singing Mandy. Such great lines on that show.

Re: Angel's Andy Hallett dead at 33 (heart failure).

Wow. I knew he had a heart scare or two, but he always seemed to bounce back. Amazing that he probably lived longer than what most doctors would have told him.

Bye bye Lorne. Now you will be able to never sleep without a psychic demon arriving.

Re: Angel's Andy Hallett dead at 33 (heart failure).

I read the news a couple of hours ago and got really sad for a bit.

He was fantastic as Lorne and I'm sad we won't get to see him bring more characters to life in the future.

RIP.

I've always heard stories from people who met him, what a great guy he was. Very friendly.
Sad news.

Re: Angel's Andy Hallett dead at 33 (heart failure).

Definitely didn't see that coming. Lorne was not my favorite character on the show, but he was played to perfection - always saw the character, not the actor which is, all in all, a great compliment to his skills.
