Okay.

Despite being written by (as far as I know) three top Deep Space Nine writers, and therefore it would've made some sense for me to, I've never watched it. Stupid, I know....

Exactly why the comment is unsurprising. I prefer women with more meat on their bones as well (hence why I don't understand why people said Lacey from DWTS was fat). That said, although certainly not fat, the neighbor is chubby. But certainly not to the point to be called fat.

I thought so at first but she was crying in the flashback and, although you only see the back of his head in the flashback, it didn't look like the guy who raped her in the Dollhouse.

I always thought Helo was Victor's doll name.

Yup, shame on you for not watching BSG. If you like Tahmoh Penikett on this show, you will love his character on BSG.

Another really good episode!

I know we're only 7eps into the show, but has there been any indication that the Doll House will actually honor the 5 year agreement with its dolls? What's to keep them from never releasing them or turning them back into "normal" people? Who would know?

I just thought of that after watching this episode with the Echo flashbacks and the new male doll most likely joining.

No, Victor is Victor's doll name. I think. Helo isn't a character on "Dollhouse." Helo was Tahmoh Penikett's (FBI Agent Ballard) character on "Battlestar Galactica."

Glad to see the show has finally gotten to the point where I am looking forward to the next episode.

I watched the episode and love it, but unfortunately for me Dushku is not good in this show. She can play one character well, tomboy tough girl. Whenever she tries to act like a normal girl, it just comes across weird.

Now, they do a good job of hiding that fact by dressing her up in some damn sexy outfits, which I certainly enjoy, but she is not a good actress, and it hurts the show. Luckily I feel the other parts have been strong enough that I don't mind.

I thought it was really funny when Topher and the boss were showing the first signs of getting high, and it just kept steamrolling. Just great stuff.

The actress in this episode is Jenica Bergere.

Whiskey tango foxtrot? The dolls, so far, are named after letters of the NATO phonetic alphabet: Alfa, Echo, November, Sierra, Victor.

She was on Drew Carry right? I'm fairly sure that's where I've seen her before.

Yes, she played Drew Carey's handywoman girlfriend Sharon. IMDB comes in handy.

I hope the black student doesn't become a regular on the show. I know they recruited him, but hopefully that was just used as a bookend for this episode. His acting was horrible and distracting. I'm just hoping that's the last we see of him.

Next week's storyline looks interesting. I'm hoping it last for more than one episode.

other than that outfit, I thought this episode was horrible (and no, I'm not just being a troll... I rather enjoyed the last couple of episodes after this series rather rocky start)

Tahmoh is great on this show and he gets to show is range a bit more on this show and gets to smile too. The shirless scenes don't hurt.
Unfortunately, I think what is hurting this show is Eliza Dushku in the lead role. She doesn't have the acting talent to pull off all these different roles. As I said before, Amy Acker would be much better and she doesn't have anything to do on this show.
Like how the plot of finally getting going and the I like the neighor of Helo and her story.

This episode was a great example of that. She was horrible from beginning to end. The flashbacks were probably the worst. But I too loved the librarian up top, whore down below outfit.

I still enjoyed the stuff at the dollhouse, with FBI guy and the other dolls and characters enough to make it enjoyable though.

That reminds me, at least now we know the staff at the dollhouse, Dr. Acker aside, are not dolls themselves. I know there has been some speculation about that since we never see them outside the house.

One thing I noticed was that Eliza looked somewhat old in the flashback episodes, which were supposed to be her as a college student.

Nothing wrong with growing older, but I think she is going to have to mature as an actress somewhat because I don't see her persona working well when she's in her 30's. She has essentially had the same schtick she has played her entire career. She's going to have to evolve or her career isn't going to last very long.

She is good in the tough girl "Faith" roles but when she was in the housewife role, she was quite horrible.

The vibe i got for this episode was tng 'naked now' or tos 'naked time'.

Don't think this episodes helped the show a hell of a lot...

I want to like the show, and i like what they try to do with Eliza's dress ups... ;-)
