ID an old children's program for me

I'm trying to find the name of an old children's show from the 80's It was out around 1983 or so and was on for maybe 2 seasons. It was an educational show probably aired on PBS.

It revolved aroung a group of about four 12 year olds who would solve mysteries around the town where they lived. They all met in a clubhouse or basement and they were helped by 2 sentientient machines. Their names were Otto and Theto. One was a typewriter that could only communicate by typing messeges on paper. I beleive it would most type riddles. I can't remember what the other machine was but it could speak.

I can't remember too much else about this show but somebody here is bound to know about it.

Fist of Doom beat me to it. I watched that a few times as a child.

Hey, anyone remember Dr. Snuggles from the same era?

Looks like I'm not the only one who remembered it . The theme song pops into my head from time to time.

I remember watching that show during class time in 5th grade. It was part of the GRETA schedule that aired in conjunction with our local PBS affiliate here. This was around 1980.

The Gulf Region Educational Television Affiliates (GRETA) was responsible for producing eight series for a total of 105 programs in its first year of operation. GRETA was led by Dorothy Sinclair, who held a master's degree from the University of Houston and had participated since its beginning in KUHT programming that involved HISD. By 1968, GRETA was serving more than 460,000 students through a full daily Channel 8 program schedule that aired from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Snowmaker, oh my gosh! I completely forgot about Today's Special! That really is a blast from the past. A couple of the others look vaguely familiar, but I'm not sure if I ever saw them.

Yup. I was especially fond of Fables of the Green Forest. Another popular TVOntario kids show was Readalong. I didn't realize these old TVO shows played in the States.
Anyone remember The Mighty Hercules or the dreadful Rocket Robin Hood?
