Directv will air unaired eps of The Nine, Eyes and Smith!
Great News for anyone who watched these shows. Directv channel 101 will air the entire run of all these series including the unaired episodes.
I know all you Eyes fans are probably crying tears of joy.

If you're a Tim Daly fan, or if you love Leverage in part because it seems vaguely familiar, there are good times ahead.
DirecTV has inked a deal to broadcast the short-lived TV series Eyes, Smith and The Nine — unaired episodes and all.
A Ray Liotta-fronted drama about an all-star ensemble of master thieves, Smith served up just three episodes during its original CBS run. But starting April 8, DirecTV's 101 Network will unspool all 11 produced episodes, airing Wednesday nights at 10 pm/ET.
Next, The Nine will get its due. The serialized drama about the hostages of a bank robbery will have all 13 of its episodes, including four hours never seen on ABC, air on DirecTV starting May 27. The Nine's cast included Tim Daly (now a star of Private Practice), Kim Raver (in her first après-24 outing) and Scott Wolf.
Perhaps the biggest treat is in store for fans of Daly's other underappreciated TV gig, Eyes. Come July, all 12 episodes of that series — seven of which never saw the light of day — will air on DirecTV every Wednesday at 9 pm. Interestingly, Kate Walsh guested on Eyes before it got pulled, establishing a chemistry with Daly that Private Practice has (with varying degrees of success) tried to capitalize on.
All three of DirecTV's acquired series will be presented in hi-def and without commercial interruption.
Previously this TV season, as part of a series-saving partnership with NBC, DirecTV premiered the third season of Friday Night Lights. The satellite service provider is in talks to do so again for possibly two more 13-episode seasons of the acclaimed drama.
Not that beggars can be choosers, but what other canceled series would you like to see DirecTV (or anyone else, for that matter) "revive" in their produced entirety?

BTW, I'm looking forward to watching the unaired episodes of Smith. That IMO was a very well produced Heist serial.
I heard The Nine does end with some closure.

Cool. I have always wanted to check out Eyes - heard good things about it. I loved Smith and had no idea there were unaired episodes.
Speaking of Leverage - I missed that one - anyone know if there is ever a marathon from the beginning?

It continues to boggle my mind why you wouldn't even air shows that have already been produced, even in a horrible timeslot.

There is actually a typo in that article about Smith. Only 7 episodes total were filmed. So only 4 are unaired. The Producers wrote scripts for episodes 8-12 and posted them online for fans to see how the series would have ended.

Wow, smith only aried 3 episodes? I forget what night was that on? I remeber them making a big deal with that show, and they yanked it real fast. Too bad i don't have direct tv.
As for cancelled tv shows, bring back Karen Sisco, weren't there a few episodes that never aired?

glad to see Directv doing this.
I caught Wonderland. seemed a little dated, odd thinking it was way back in 2001.
and not in HD. getting to be where all shows are in HD and you catch an old one and you really notice what is missing.

Smith was the best show in recent years with an all star cast, I was shocked it got canceled.

Hopefully these will end up on the internet in the usual places. I don't have DirecTV and would love to watch Eyes again. I think I started The Nine and gave up on it. I'm not sure. I don't remember Smith either, but I really liked Eyes and was pissed off when it got axed so fast.

Eyes has a pre-Dirty Sexy Money Natalie Zea.
Also, you can't go wrong with Amy Smart on Smith.
Smith also has a pre-Mentalist Simon Baker. He was actually a badass in that show.

While this isn't directly related, Eli Stone has seen its unaired episodes find their way on the air on SciFi in the UK.
I'd love to see Pushing Daisies find a place to get out the last 3 episodes. Throw in Dirty Sexy Money remaining episodes as well.

Excited about this announcement! Direct really picks up some great TV shows. Of course, there's Friday Night Lights, but I was so thrilled when they decided to show Wonderland, a show I loved during its all too brief original run.
Now with these shows coming into their rotation, especially Eyes, I feel like they have continued to show a commitment to quality TV.
