What was the deal with Elliot and JD in the cafeteria. The way it was shot, it felt like there was one actor, and one stand in. The only thing I could think was that there were showing JDs hands only to tie in with the end of episode wrap up.

Indeed, Eliot was conspicuously absent until the cafeteria scene. This was the first episode that felt like a complete whiff this season.

Each actor agreed to sit out two episodes for budgetary reasons to get the show made this season.

Everyone was present this episode though, so maybe the strange cuts were the way to do it.

It was ok but not as good as most of the other episodes this season. And the actors missing in this episode were the Interns.

The janitor has been dating Lady since the first episode of season seven. She is introduced at the end of the episode after JD is convinced the janitor is lying about having a girlfriend. She has been referenced several times, but I think this was only her second or third appearance on camera.

I thought this episode was horrible. It was a complete shill for ESPN, and ESPN is overexposed to begin with. I hope there's some redemption over the final episodes for this season, and this one is the lone stinker.

RE the cafeteria scene, I felt the exact same thing. Just seemed really awkwardly framed. However, if Braff wasn't there it makes sense.

Not only did I think the Elliot and JD conversation in the cafeteria seemed like it was shot in a strange way, but I think the conversation between Carla and Turk regarding the paralyzed kid was also shot strangely.

I don't remember seeing Lady ever before. I know Janitor has talked about her a lot from time-to-time, but thought this was her first appearance...does anyone know specifically which episodes she appeared in during Season 7?
