Do we actually know if bill is really dead? You know how 24 is with their deaths. I really hope he's still alive.

I don't know why we're using spoiler boxes the show has aired but whatever...

Spoiler:
He looked pretty dead to me. Plus, he got the silent clock. I guess they could pull an Almeida with him, but I tend to doubt that.

Yeah i had noticed some other members doing the spoiler thing so i just went with the crowd. But really i think after the episode has aired we shouldn't have to do that. Why would someone click on a thread that hasn't seen the episode yet when they know many have watched it and are discussing the episode?

Bill

But on the other hand, I love how Moss is getting all hurt by renee going along with Bauer.

And it looks like Pierce is heading for some young tail

I think somebody called Bill's death last week, well, I believe their full prediction was either Bill or Kurtwood Smith, but still.

I was pretty surprised myself that Bill went out like that. But at least he went out on his own terms, so to speak.

Re: Twenty Four (24) -- "8:00pm to 9:00pm" -- 3/9/09

The episode was great.

Now, slightly off-topic, except that it is on-topic because they shoe-horned the following into the episode:

[rant]The "climate change" PSA had me dry-heaving.

I love how we're supposed to be living on a warming planet, yet in the puget sound region of the great northwest, it's March 9th and we have yet to have a day over 60 degrees this year and have had more snowy days this winter than any year I can remember in the last 25 years.[/off-rant]

Again, best episode of the year! This season is turning out to be the best so far.

While the terrorists were distracted by the president, bill ran into the panic room and shot an explosive canister taking out the terrorists and himself.

RIP BILL BUCHANAN

Another awesome episode!

not sure what kind of nerve agent only paralyzes someone for a minute and then they are back to normal, but still

Larry Moss better stop being a dick and get in the game !

And what is with the president's daughter going off at the chief advisor. If you want to investigate, you don't announce it like a bafoon, you do it covertly and become everyone's friend, silly girl !

I'm afraid that's what they're going to end up doing though... having her build this nice bond with Aaron and then WHAM! she kills him and goes balls-out bitch villain.

Exactly Then he suspends Walker for not following his orders.

that VP is such a pussy.

i wasn't familiar w/ the actress that plays prez daughter, but she tripped me out when she pulled the bitch switch

hilarious that once again the govt is worried about Jack when they should be focused on the terrorist threat

meanwhile Jack is persuing the threat on his own, and i'm guessing Renee will show up to help him since she basically has no job

You'd think that after all these years, the U.S. Government would realize that Jack is on their side and that he would never betray the country or act contrary to its best interest.

It would serve absolutely no purpose for him to kill that guy, because with him dead there are no leads. I understand they have to do it to advance the plot, but I mean, why do people in the 24 Universe seem to completely ignore everything Jack has done to protect the country and assume he is out there killing witnesses for the fun of it?

Two people I despise more each week: Agent Moss and prez's daughter. VP is gaining ground. So it's OK for Moss to "go rogue" and ignore the VP when he deems it appropriate (as it was), but Jack better follow orders 100% of the time no matter what?

Bummed to see Bill gone, but he went out a hero.

Sad to see Bill go.

Solid episode last night -- kept up the great momentum from last week's double-header.

"He called somebody on his sat phone and we need to find out who it was."

"Uh, couldn't we just pick his sat phone up of the floor and press 'redial'?"

"Quiet, you. Let's get to the hospital and question that other guy pronto."

The usual 24 plot silliness aside (or even, partially BECAUSE of it), this show is back in a big way. The hours are going by faster every week. Good stuff.

Sucks that Bill had to die. But at least he went out with a bang(literally). As for the wedding ring, he was married to Karen Hayes in Season 6, although by the end of the day it appeared their relationship was on the rocks. I guess they reconciled.

Taylor's daughter is shaping up to be another Sherry Palmer. That was a nice twist.

Looks like Renee will be going rogue with Jack before the day is over.

Best episode of the season. After last week's ep, which caused me to exclaim "I'm bored!" this episode totally redeemed this season.

I think there are much more surprises in store.

No matter how ridiculous swimming up to the White House was it was still entertaining as hell. I don't see how anyone could have found "terrorists storming the White House" boring.

Thanks. I've blocked most of season 6 out of memory and had forgotten all about Karen.

Re: Twenty Four (24) -- "8:00pm to 9:00pm" -- 3/9/09

Very good episode again this week. The writers are doing a phenomenal job at creating irritating characters like Moss for us to hate. Same goes with Agent Walker, her character is very refreshing as I was getting tired of Chloe helping Jack. He needs another buddy.

As for Bill well it was pretty much a give he was about to die. They were running out of options for him. Good character, he will be missed.
