Maybe there is still hope for season 3? Here is what the president for Fox Entertainment had to say recently.

Can someone explain to me what "doing well on a c7 basis" means?

THR: Can "Terminator" or "Dollhouse" financially make sense as broadcast shows next season if their ratings don't improve?

Reilly: Advertisers have liked the shows. Both shows are doing well on a c7 basis. It's too early to rule them out.

Everyone keeps bashing FOX for cancelling stuff, but since Kevin Reilly took over programming a few years ago, he's been really patient with all their programs unlike his predecessors.

I mean if you look at FOX this past season, the only major things they cancelled were Do Not Disturb and Prison Break, which everyone expected to end anyways.

C7 is another way of saying live+7, meaning live viewers plus those who watch on DVR within 7 days. The only problem is live+3 is the standard which they base advertising rates on.

I'll try to watch, I might have given it up last week though. Watched 10 minutes and just wasn't interested at all. I hope things pick up or they do something to grab me.

So much better this week! And all the Riley haters will be ecstatic!

Huh, so Skynet's going to try to kill John with avian bird flu, eh?

Now if we can get rid of mole face.

great episode, but Summer is becoming unbearably ugly. Her bug eyes and monstrous forehead dominated the screen tonight.

Echoing many of the sentiments in this thread; pretty much night and day between this episode and the recent string of episodes. I really enjoyed the fight at the end, very well done.

Great episode.

I'll have more thoughts later, but I actually started feeling bad for Riley for being unfairly blamed for Jesse's transgressions (i.e., calling social services on the Connors).

Definitely the best of the spring episodes. Brian Austin Green is still grossly underused.

I don't get why some of you are so annoyed with Stephanie Jacobson, especially talking about the mole all the time. Is it the character that bugs you? I don't remember people in this forum bashing her on Battlestar Galactica a few years ago.

I'm glad Riley is finally out of the picture. She had some really weird Lesbian sexual tension in every scene with Jessie. To top it off, I was really surprised that she admitted she loved her tonight.

Her character does not bring anything to the story, the only thing she has done is sleep with Derek and lead Riley on.

Not a great episode, but much improved over over the last few weeks. Very glad to see Riley go. Derek needs more screen time, as does Ellison (although I don't just want to watch him chat with Cromartie at a table in the Urinator's lab). Derek and Ellison had a lot more to do in Season 1, and they added something to the story.

So, some untrained girl picked to seduce young-John can whoop this shit out of some badass commando mole-chick? Riley was putting the beatdown on moleface until she whipped out the gat.

Yeah, Riley had to go... and yes, so does the Crooked Teeth Mole Woman of Oz.

Great return to form. I'm glad some of the secrets are coming out into the open. I was kind of sad to see Riley go. Even though I didn't really like her it was mostly because of how they dragged out her storyline. Once things got going I softened a little. I though the "do you have anything to tell me?" scene and the confrontation with Jessie were both very good. The fight had a little too much rolling around, slamming into things for me. I guess it was suppose to be realistic, but Jessie should have been more badass.

I didn't get any sexual tension at all with Jessie, but then I didn't really see it with John either. I don't think it's the actress's fault. Jessie's relationship seemed more paternal and John has a hemo thing going on.

Let this be a lesson to us all: If you can sneak up behind someone, bash them over the fucking head as hard as you can and THEN choke them out. Do not go for the choke right away, unless you're Ben Linus.

I'm glad that Riley is gone. However, the show still sucks. Other than her death, nothing else really happened. And why introduce a character just to kill her after a while without ever having impacted the story? And why did she survive the suicide attempt just to be killed a few episodes later? Sloppy!

As for the rest of the episode, I rather watch Sarah fighting terminators than watch her chatting with social workers. Somebody needs to put this show out of its misery.

Because the Riley character impacted JESSE'S (moleface) storyline, that's why. Riley was just the bait in Jesse's insidious plan. Not sloppy. Clever.

Actually the moleface storyline is completely unnecesary and has derailed a once good show.

I think both Jesse and Riley are deadweight. Fortunately, now one of them is actually dead. Their story has been boring and took attention away from more interesting aspects of the show: John's strange bonding with Cameron (the most loyal people in his life aside from his mother and her beau have been the T-800 and Cameron), the Urinator's plan for Cromartie, and Agent Ellison. The Jesse/Riley and UFO subplots need to be gone.
