CSI: -- "Turn, Turn, Turn" -- 3/5/09

Synopsis:

Spoiler:

Nick probes the murder of a troubled teen girl (Taylor Swift) at a seedy motel run by her parents, where two previous homicide investigations occurred over the past year. The case is especially painful for Nick, since he got to know the victim while investigating the other crimes, which are seen via flashbacks. The first involves a man shot in a crawl space above a motel room, and the second focuses on the death of a former convict recently released from prison.

Preview for tonight's episode (Got tired of posting that same damn photo of Laurence Fishburne)

Looks like a really good episode.

Sounds interesting. Stokes-centric episodes are usually pretty good.

Pretty decent episode. Taylor Swift is nice to look at.

This episode seemed like a two hour affair. They covered so much ground it felt like a full episode by the 20 minute mark.

Is it just me or have the past few episodes gotten needlessly over complicated?

I agree about it feeling like a 2h episode. We're so used to see 2-3 storylines with the different CSIs that when a is focussed on a single character it makes it feel longer. I wonder if it was because most others weren't available or they planned it this way.

I really liked this episode. Nick is the best character left on the show and they featured him really well this time around.

Good episode. Nice to hear Grissom on the phone (wonder if that was recorded new or from a previous episode).

They probably just had Peterson record it before he left. Easy to do.

I hope that didn't count as Grissom's "future guest appearance" though...

Very good episode. Can never get enough of looking at Taylor Swift. She is very beautiful and acting quite well.

I really really liked this episode.

Loved the overall dark tone of it and I think George Eads did a great job. This was probably one of the most entertaining Nick themed episodes.

Taylor Swift was actually really good in this episode. I loved the slow and dark evolution of her character. I also thought the song they chose from her really fitted the tone of the episode. It was IMO a very tragic end for her character.

Really liked the Petersen audio cameo.

I don't think I ever need to see George Eads try to cry on cue.

Taylor Swift might need to think about going brunette, look much better that way to me. But her singing is still pretty average.

Episode was great, and I agree Nick is the best character on the show.

But the crying was terrible.
