It's gotta be better than last week's, but the deus ex machina in the synopsis is a little off-putting.

So there's this episode, one more normal episode, then a two part final?

Yes.

2/27 - 1 hour.
3/6 - 1 hour.
3/13 - 1 hour (finale part 1).
3/20 - 2 hours (finale parts 2 & 3).

Plus there's a 2 hour "movie" coming later called "The Plan".

Thanks! I've been recording (but not watching) the shows on my DVR along with all of the LOST episodes. I'll probably watch the BSG shows in the week before the finale, Part 1.

I'm not sure how much longer I can hold off on the LOST episodes though...

About that synopsis -- it's DS9 all over again.

I really hate to complain because I love the series, and I've actually liked a lot of the episodes that people have felt were too slow in the past, but...wow. Maybe I'm just tired, but I am bored stiff so far by this episode. Only 15 minutes left and I've yet to be interested by a single thing. Bleh.

I like how the music he played on the piano when they were discussing the second movement was the Prologue music from the original series.

Am I forgetting something? When did Sharon Valerii become a complete psychopath?

So the guy Kara was with was... all in her head? Her father? Somehow connected with the mysterious artist Cylon model "Daniel"?

I really enjoyed this episode. The opening sequence with Starbuck was really fantastic; great editing and acting.

I've got to admit, when their piano playing swelled into "All Along the Watchtower," the fanboy in me got a boner the size of Rhode Island. That whole scene was great, but the music put it on a whole different level.

Anyone else notice that the case of the tape Starbuck got from Helo said "Opera House"?

Starbuck said something about the muntiny and there not being as many people around. Did Adama kill all the mutineers or strip them of their ranks? I don't think we've seen any of them since.

Re: Battlestar Galactica -- "Someone to Watch Over Me" -- 2/27/2009 -- Only 4 Left

So Tyrol killed a innocent 8 to take the place of boomer. Boomer then takes the kid and nearly kills Athena. Then she jumps to close to ship killing who knows how many people. I really think Chief needs to die if they find out what he did.

Starbuck and her daddy. Ahhh cool little sub plot but what does it mean. What are you Starbuck? A ghost or a demon. Or maybe the first human / Cyclon crossbreed. If that is so will all human cylon babies be crazy.

Oh and I guess we know that the bad cylons will be attacking soon. Seems they were only waiting to get the kid away.

So, the gist is that Boomer is a total psychopath and Tyrol is the biggest sap around, humans and Cylons included. This is getting to be too much like Heroes, with characters doing complete 180s and acting really dumb. That would make Tyrol the Mohinder of Galactica.

Why? They can't be interested in learning the secrets of reproduction since the bad Cylons are all dudes except for Sharon. Why would they let Ellen and the secrets of resurrection go to get the kid?

Why I don't know, but if they didn't want the kid then why would Boomer take her?

Yeah, I heard it coming a few seconds before the reveal, but that was cool.

And more naked and half-naked Boomer! Yay! Grace Park rocks.

Re: Battlestar Galactica -- "Someone to Watch Over Me" -- 2/27/2009 -- Only 4 Left

Did Hotdog's viper jump away or crash into Galactica? I couldn't tell what the hell happened.

Helo can't tell his wife from another woman (even one that looks similar), especially when he's frakking her? Yeah, right.

By the way, what happened to the whole idea of Six and Baltar having a kid together in the Opera House? Didn't Six say that Hera was that kid? I still don't get how Helo and Athena's kid could be Six and Baltar's kid. And how was Roslin able to share the same images of Hera in the Opera House as Six? Whatever.

I hope the remaining episodes are action packed because this season has been really disappointing. I hope the show goes out with a bang.

Re: Battlestar Galactica -- "Someone to Watch Over Me" -- 2/27/2009 -- Only 4 Left

Seeing how Moore and the others went with Chief going for Boomer, I can see why they went with that terrible direction of him voting to go, to show is distance of being with the fleet, all alone. But they probably could have done it a bit better, showing more conflict that was in character as opposed to changing his stances at the drop of a hat.

I thought it was a very good episode and next week's looks like it should deliver the answers to all questions.

Re: Battlestar Galactica -- "Someone to Watch Over Me" -- 2/27/2009 -- Only 4 Left

Considering there are only 4 episodes left, you would think this episode wouldn't have so much filler. I know they probably want to build to a climax, but I'm worried they are just going to jam way too much stuff into the last 2 episodes. The pacing of this season is a bit erratic.
