Synopsis:

Spoiler:

Three seemingly unrelated murders in separate locations are investigated, but the CSIs discover a common link. First, the beating death of an art dealer found facedown in his rented mansion's swimming pool is probed. Next, a Hollywood woman's shooting death in a seedy motel is investigated; and lastly, a private investigator's murder in a parking lot is analyzed.

Only about halfway through it right now on cbs.com, but it reminds me of the 5th episode "4x4".

I thought the same thing, especially with the way they rewound the time, although "4x4" was about four truly unrelated cases. This was one about three seemingly unrelated crimes.

Let me just say, as an aside, is that more screen time for Liz Vassey is a good thing. And get her out of the lab more, too. I think this might have been the first time I saw any proof she actually had legs :D.

I liked this episode and am glad to see Laurance Fishbourne (sp?) in a more "senior" role - in that he is not a bumbling rookie - but a wise / elder statesman role.

Liz is tall! Did they explain why she was on a crime scene? I was a little distracted at the start of the episode.

They were supposed stretched thin by having three cases at once.

Ah, that makes sense, then. Especially if they are trying her out as a CSI (like Greg) and promote her next season.

That had to be the most screen time for Liz yet... best episode evar!!

But seriously, she definitely has the chops to be out in the field. She held her own with everyone she was on screen with. As for the episode as a whole, it was a little lackluster.

That was supposed to be this season before the blonde & Fish came on board. I'll still hold out hope for next season.

It was a good one. I liked the last line of the show a lot.

Not sure if I understant why the maggots were outside the hotel room. I thought they would stay with the body or at least the blood. There wasn't anything outside for them to be eating.

Weren't the maggots there awfully early as well? At least that amount of them seemed odd.
