I'm really enjoying this season and I'm always willing to suspend disbelief for a show like 24 but I just don't get why Dubaku wanted his girlfriend so bad. The guy is a killer. He has a job to do. I see no reason for him to have a girlfriend tag along with him. It seems like the only reason she was brought onto the show was so Jack would have a way of tracking down Dubaku.
I think he'll cap her right in the head 15 minutes into the episode. I can't wait to see the "damn someone I was supposed to take care of is dead" look on Jack.
Fucking Billy Walsh in the mole. He was my first thought but after awhile I thought it would be his office girlfriend.

WTF !!
I thought the information is "vital to national security"? Why would Jack give it to some random cop?? Especially since he doesn't know who's been corrupted? WHAT A CROCK!

For real. She should just give him a full out Presidential Pardon. He saved the country and her husband's life...and that is just on this ONE DAY.
Given all the other times he has saved the country, I think Jack should have a standing Presidential Pardon at all times, lol.

I'm curious as to how they are going to continue this season. It's been fantastic thus far and I hope the trend continues.
Also, I was glad that Jack and Renee didn't kiss; would've been wayyy too cliche.

Sucks that Aaron Pierce wasn't around this week. Hopefully he isn't limited to a one episode cameo like in Season 6.
And while this season is a bounceback from the Season 6 disaster, it has been highly derivative. The chip hidden inside the bad guy was recycled from Season 2.
I like how Kurtwood Smith's character managed to apply some hair dye since the Senate hearing.

YES! I caught that, too. I rewound it just to make sure (damn HD being out and all) and paused it. Everybody else in the room was trying to figure out what I was doing until finally I shouted out, "DAMN YOU ALL!" Then stormed out of the room.

"Whew! I've spent 9 grueling hours tracking this little baby down! Hey stranger standing next to a helicopter, do me a solid and run this over to the FBI. Kthxbye."
And when Renee started slapping Jack, he should've brought her out to the hospital parking lot and buried the bitch alive again.

I'm watching S6 on DVD while trying to be patient and watch S7 weekly. And even though I heard it was not good, almost any 5 minutes of this one episode lap the 16 hrs of S6 that I've watched. Even the worst silly parts. Awesome episode.

Renee's hair has gotten really long in just 10 hours today.
So we go into the next phase of "today". Bring it on! This show is so much better written and directed than Heroes these days, too.

Great episode. The previews for next week look fucking awesome. Sort of funny that Tony wouldn't just disappear. Instead, he's tracking down a lead and wants to continue with the investigation.

I guess Costanza was right. Relationship Dubaku was the undoing of Independent Dubaku.
I'm going to be contrary. Jack belongs in prison. Pulling the gun on the EMT is just not in any way justifiable. The ends don't always justify the means. They could have removed that chip from Dubaku at the hospital, and the episode wouldn't have been any different.

When you're talking about thousands or millions of people the ends ALWAYS justify the means.
