Re: TV Talk's The LOST Game

I guess I'll go ahead and update my numbers with {013}, {016}, {022}, {033}, {052}, and {59} being definitive winners.

Bus,
You want to give an official ruling on the boat one {062}? I can update it with little effort.

Don't worry that should be true in a future episode. Or at least that's what I hope. :(

Re: TV Talk's The LOST Game

Well, it's updated. I won't post the rankings until Bus makes a call on 62. That'll obviously make a pretty big difference in the scoring.

Check for errors, etc.

We were shown not only the sub but also the sailboat. {062} counts. Sorry for any delay. And don't act like I wasn't clear about it. Motor-powered and wind-powered are very unambiguous descriptions for vehicles.

Alright, let's get this new week underway.

Palaver, sorry for not noticing your PM.

The source of my confusion is that the use of "or" in here seems to give 3 different possibilites:

Boat (of any kind)
or
Ship (of any kind)
or
"Similar" wind/motor-powered watercraft (a watercraft that may not be considered a ship or boat)

Sometimes over-clarification is confusing, especially to a bunch of internet nerds ;)

LOST Game — Week Eight

You have $5000 to spend between these predictions. You can bet on any number of predictions. Any unused money from this week is lost. As I mentioned before, as the totals start getting up there, I'm going to increase each week's play money.

Predictions are in this format:

{Number} Prediction (Odds)

{071} During an episode, (aside from what the title of the episode is) no reference to "Star Wars" is made. (3:1)
{072} There is a scene showing a canoe, lifeboat, kayak, paddleboat, or otherwise human-powered only watercraft. (3:1)
{073} It is revealed that Jack's dad is not alive (he is a ghost, apparition, robot, clone of the "real" dad, etc.) (9:1)
{074} There is a closeup on an eye.(7:1)
{075} The island moves again (doesn't count showing the previous movement). (7:1)
{076} We see the ship The Black Rock or hear dialogue about it (which must include the name of the ship). (7:1)
{077} At least three of the Oceanic 815 survivors are shown wearing a hat during an episode. (4:1)
{078} Alex appears again. (6:1)
{079} It is revealed/explained whether or not Alex in "Dead is Dead" was actually alive, dead, or just an illusion created by the Monster/the Temple/anyone/etc. (8:1)
{080} Charles Widmore is on the island anytime after the initial Oceanic 815 crash. (11:1)

Off you go! Post your bets here by Wednesday, April 15th at 8:55PM EST.

Please make your bets in this format:

{00X} $AmountBet

OR

{00X} Description $AmountBet

Thanks!

Wow, I have no idea what I would bet on. Anything I think might happen, I don't see happening tonight. Decisions...

Need to wait on Palaver to update the spreadsheet so I can get a current number anyway.

I updated my spread sheets. Here's the score I got to this point.

The spreadsheet was supposed to re-publish automatically when changes were made, but it didn't for some reason. I manually re-published it. It should now match up with what I posted here.

The 33749 is the correct amount for you datagirl7.

Sorry for the confusion.
