I liked it - not the best, but no real complaints. I chuckled a few times, which is fairly typical for most Office episodes.

I liked Creed's "I could get you a kid for 7 grand" and Jim and Dwight's continual failure (and ultimate success) as heads of the party planning committee.

Very mediocre. As stated, most of Mindy's episodes are weak. This continued her streak. Besides some Jim/Dwight stuff, I liked Kevin too.

I'm with you. This show already has one Michael, it doesn't need another one. And I'll do you one better...I now hate Michael so much that I enjoy the show more when he's miserable or being made to feel like an ass (roasting him in last week's episode was utterly satisfying).

This episode sucked. The Office and 30 Rock were competing for "Best Sitcom currently on TV" for some time, but this season, 30 Rock is kicking The Office's ass. Lately I've just been watching The Office because it's on right before.

I never liked Holly either.

Although Michael isn't my favorite character, he's still funny at times. Holly is just an unfunny Michael.

anyone else think it was odd that holly's sweater was on her chair and her computer wasn't locked? kinda seems like she was in the office.

Lecture Circuit part 1

The Dundies

The Injury

Branch Wars

Seems she does as okay as any of the writers. This was just one of the near the target misses.

This episode was a true stinker. It's hard to say that about any episode but there wasn't a single thing that clicked in this one.

Not really. Lots of people leave sweaters like that in the office. I also think you would be suprised how many people also just leave their computers on. In my office I would say almost 1/2 the people probably leave their computers on over night. We tell them not to, but they still do.

Licking a cat is probably one of the grossest things I've ever seen.

This was a particularly unfunny episode - worst I can remember seeing.

I didn't think it was a great episode by any means, but I laughed a lot. The awkward humor always gets me, and the whole Pam/Micheal series was full of it.

I agree -- not one of the better episodes.

I leave my computer on at the office for weeks at a time. Of course, after 5 or 10 minutes, I have to enter a password to get back to the desktop.

I cracked up when it revealed that Holly has Ed Grimley for her desktop wallpaper. Perfect. (I need to find that for myself.)

Our company policy is to leave ours on all the time, but to log off when leaving for the day. They log off automatically after 10 or 15 minutes, too.

And plenty of women in my office always have sweaters on their chairs. Guess it's a chick thing.

not a bad episode, Some really good parts with Pam, Jim and Dwight. Some good lines by Kevin and Creed.

Though it was a let down from last weeks episode, which I thought was perfect.
Last weeks episode seemed like it was heading for a big conclusion considering they had it to be continued. Yet really nothing happened. I was hoping to see Holly, She was a great addition to the show.

Not a bad episode like some of you guys are mentioning. The brithday stuff was good. I just thought it was alet down, I was expecting with the cliffhanger last week. They really didnt do much with it.

One of the weaker episodes this season, considering this season has been fantastic. Btw I loved seeing Pam trying to do Micheals Presentation. great stuff.

Looks like this show is running out of gas. There used to be more good episodes than bad, now that trend seems to be reversing.

I think the point was that she was out of town. Why would she leave her sweater there if she was going to be gone for three days?

I think the point was that women always have some kind of clothing in their office, whether they are there or not. Chicks always get cold and leave a sweater there just in case.

Re: The Office -- "Lecture Circuit Part 2" -- 2/12/09

In my past I knew people to leave a sweater at the office if it is known to be a cold working place. i guess just leaving it there is a state of mind of not forgetting to bring another one.
For me the scene when the 2 cats where doin it on the webcam had me in stitches.

"I was looking at pictures of food on my computer."

Kevin's delivery of that line killed me.

Yeah, I should've been clearer. The women in my office that do that ALWAYS have a sweater on their chair, whether they're in the office or not.

From a storyline perspective, it was pretty weak. But there were some great one-liners:
  • Dwight butt-slapping Kelley, err Kelly
  • Stanley's comment about the sign
  • Kevin saying he was looking at pictures of food on his computer
  • You get to choose the theme

I also enjoyed seeing the little moment at the end when Dwight mentioned how good the cake was that Jim bought.
