Re: House -- "The Greater Good" -- 2/2/09

I didn't catch that but it could have.

I think the only reason I watch House anymore are his one-liners. I'm losing interest in the drama (Fourteen was interesting for about one episode imo) and I'm getting frustrated at the lack of Cameron and Chase. Either show them regularly or get rid of them permanently, don't cock tease us like this. They were completely absent tonight.

Maybe this is just me being in a bad mood tonight though.

Loved "my little little greg" lol

I've had that happen on other FOX shows (Bones, Terminator). It's a problem on the local station end.

I agree 100%, although I did think House was acting more like himself tonight and not like a spoiled whiny brat like last week, which helped a bit.

Kutner has gotten really annoying the past couple episodes.

The whole show is annoying the past couple of episodes. I don't care about the cases anymore, I don't care about the tension between the characters anymore, and the sideshow with Kutner, Kalp, 13, and Foreman is just tired.

And it's a shame, because Laurie still manages to make for a compelling scene...which is why I keep watching.

The final diagnosis was kinda far-out, though.

I guess I'm one of the only few that's still enjoying it. I like the Foreteen plot, liked that they showed a little bit on Taub, Kutner is annoying me though.

I'm getting tired of the same ole thing every episode. I really only watch the show for house. They can get rid of EVERY character on the show other than house and I'd still watch for him. I could care less about anyone else.

Re: House -- "The Greater Good" -- 2/2/09

This whole season has annoyed me, save for the episode when House went to his dad's funeral.

I mean, when I really think about it, I can appreciate what they're trying to do right now with the Foreman/Thirteen relationship. I think the concept of dealing with that kind of ethical conundrum is very interesting. It's just that they have failed to execute it well at all. A contrived love affair for Foreman and Thirteen isn't going to resonate emotionally with the viewers the way it needs to in order to make this plot convincing.

And I've never been a Cuddy fan, but I tolerated her because the show never used to delve too deeply into the personal lives of anyone but House. I can't stand the increased focus on her this season.

I don't know why I still watch. Maybe I just don't want to miss an episode that could be as good as they used to be.

I don't envy the writers of this show. Medical dramas have to be the toughest scripted TV to write next to serial dramas.

The show is getting somewhat boring and repetitive, but I'm still watching. This episode was okay.

How would the Cancer doctor, who was the patient, be able to scratch off her skin and part of her skull for her brain matter to be popping out?

I was hoping 13 would die.. That's how much I don't like her character in the show now.

It's a pretty long article, but the woman in it did scratch all the way to her brain while she slept. It wouldn't be surprising if that's where the House writers got the idea from (the article was from last June).

Of course, the true story was over a long period of constant scratching; doing it in one night seems unlikely.

What's with the House threads? is it because of the movie to Mondays? We used to get 3 or 4 page discussions.
