Reviews call this one a re-hash, but I'll take what I can get after such a long hiatus!

A rehash from Supernatural is better than a lot of new material from other shows. I can't wait 'til tonight.

Does re-hash mean clip show?

It's basically another take on a plot concept from a previous episode. I'm guessing this episode will be somewhere along the lines of "Home" from Season 1 with a couple of new twists. Also, one could probably call this episode a "homage" to Poltergeist.

Thanks, cr. As long as it's not a clip show, I'm fine. Although I admit eps with reused monsters have a greater chance of being duds.

Yep. This is easily in the top 5 shows on television. I'll go as far to say it's the #1 underrated show on tv...period.

I'll agree with you on that. The writing on this show through out its run is amazing. Even after reading the synopsis of the "Ground Hog Day" episode I thought they finally hit a clunker. Boy was I wrong.

Glad its back~

This is a great show. I thoroughly enjoy and even look forward to the new episodes each week. Incidentally, I just picked up season 3 on dvd and am looking for a cover that matches this one: http://www.r1db.com/covers/custom-tv...-season-1.html Made by lostpr0ph3t. Cant seem to find the designer or a s3 cover on any of the usual sites.

Good Ep. Not great, but good.

While I think Dean is awesome, having rewatched the entire series to this point again over the last few months I will be happy if I never again hear him utter the words "Sons of bitches"....

Glad to have it back on the air!

I'm not as ecstatic about the show as some of you but I do like it a lot. It's been getting better and better since the very mediocre first season.

Good ep. Some good one-liners. "Jeez, she should just rent Juno and get over it"

Oh and a huge for the awesomeness of next weeks episode title.

Thanks! I was watching the show trying to figure out where I had heard someone call himself "Babar" before. Fletch! Ah, yes!

You might watch to give the 1st season another look. True, there are some weak episodes but, overall, it was a good season.

I'm pretty good about suspending belief, but I kind of chuckled when they found the writings on the wall. I guess the mom could have taught the daughter and her brother basic words, but for them to write "Too Late" in blood and use it correctly I found funny.

Re: Supernatural -- "Family Remains" -- 1/15/09

The whole thing was a bit ridiculous, but it was a fun ride. I also like how a old man with his two incest spawned kids running around in the walls still had maid service. And breaking into the car trunk and taking all the weapons, plus Sam and Dean not being armed to begin with, was a bit of a stretch.

I thought the same thing.

I'll admit the night vision scene with the daughter bringing the rat creeped me out.

I don't know how you could call season one mediocre. If anything season three is the worst for me since most episodes were brighter and Supernatural relies heavily on its darker look.

^ Well that's how I feel. I gave up on season 1 the first time so I just can't call it great. I loved most of season 3
