Synopsis:

Spoiler:

The murder of three Russians leads the detectives to a Russian mobster (Garret Dillahunt) who may also be linked to the Seybolt murders. Elsewhere, Crews shoots an intruder and Reese reverts to old habits.

Last new episode of 2008. Returns Wednesday February 4th.

aktick 12-17-08 09:40 PM

Motherfucker! February?!?

Soooooo...who shot Crews?

Mysteryfan 12-17-08 10:07 PM

That was unexpected.....

Heliosphann 12-18-08 12:54 AM

WTF!?!?!

I just checked my DVR and instead of LIFE it recorded some Disney BS Animated show.

Charlie Goose 12-18-08 07:42 AM

Is there anyone that can play slime better than Garret Dillahunt?

And February. :(
Bye-bye, momentum!

But I need my weekly fix of Sarah Shahi walking around the office w/out her jacket on!

I am pretty sure that she is my favorite thing on television right now.

I love this show.

TheNightFlier 12-18-08 09:37 AM

February? Gahhhhh

Good episode though. Crews getting shot was a wtf moment.

RocShemp 12-18-08 11:01 AM

Hell of a cliffhanger! But who was the guy in Charlie's vision? I sort of reckognize him but I don't remember who he was.

Flave 12-18-08 12:19 PM

^^
He was in the pilot and was arrested. He later escaped in an ep this season and was killed by Crews.

mikehunt 12-18-08 09:07 PM

that was hilarious when they served the search warrant

just the 3 of you? the new captain, ex-con and junkie

tofu 12-18-08 10:20 PM

Good episode. I like how they're progressing the story now but I'm not going to remember any of the plot that I've learned by the time that February rolls around.

I also hope to hear more about the murderer who's protecting Ted. Seems like an interesting backstory.

Axeramm 12-18-08 11:03 PM

Kinda hate that he sent Rachel away. I like when they interact even with the rarity that it has happened.

BDB 12-21-08 05:08 PM

Love the show, the bullet was high.

Love the interactions with Roman. Great stuff. Can't wait till Feb

Deftones 12-21-08 08:04 PM

great episode. so, theories on who shot him?

BDB 12-21-08 10:19 PM

FBi dude is my top guess

That was my guess as well.

BDB 12-22-08 12:57 PM

I also loved Ted's time in jail.

Superman07 12-26-08 01:21 PM

WTF?! Looks like this didn't air all that long ago. Now I've got to wait a few months as well. :(

I really enjoy Roman and hope he's a recurring villain. I can't say I've seen him in anything else, but the actors plays evil nicely.

At first I thought cop #3 was trying to be good, but I'm starting to think Crews is being used as a puppet. I think he's working with FBI perhaps to get Crews to do their bidding.

Also, where's the ex?!

I also enjoyed the Ted in jail with the killers. I hope he doesn't let his help go to his head though.

B.A. - I'll trump your Sarah Shahi with a Yvonne Strahovski.

I was thinking the exact same thing while watching this episode.

Played two diffrent bad guys on Deadwood. He's the main terminator on The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Roman on Life, and one of the James Gang in The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford.

He's got a lot of recent stuff on his resume. His most high profile project is probably playing Tommy Lee Jones' deputy in No Country for Old Men.

As for who shot Crews...maybe it was somebody working for Richard Thornberg. You don't really cast William Atherton unless the part is a villian.

I thought it was Kyle McLachlan this whole time! :)

I just caught up with this show thanks to the S1 DVD and the S2 episodes I had on my DVR. Damn, this show is good. Excellent mix of the MOTW and Crews trying to figure out who set him up.

As for who shot him, maybe Olivia did it in retribution for Charlie shooting the man she is going to marry who just happens to be Charlie's father?

I was laughing when Ted's "bodyguards" made the other convict come over and let Ted order off of his plate.

Something stinks about the FBI agent.

I hope this show gets picked up for a 3rd season.
