Leverage - anyone gonna watch?
In "Leverage", Oscar® winner Timothy Hutton stars as Nate Ford, an insurance investigator who once specialized in recovering stolen goods worth millions. But after his former company denied his son's insurance claims and allowed the boy to die, Nate now heads up a team of thieves, hackers and grifters who take revenge against those who use power and wealth to victimize others. Together, they execute scams, con games and double crosses in the name of justice. See the photos, get local listings, and visit the official site for "Leverage", premiering tonight at 10/9c on TNT.

I've got it set to record on the DVR, it seems like it could be a fun show.
I'll give it at least three episodes.
I'm watching, but mainly for Gina Bellman (Jane from Coupling, UK).
Supposedly, the first two episodes are really good. I believe it was EW that said it was worth watching.
I checked my DVR last night and it premieres tonight, but will move to Tuesday's beginning this week (another episode airs this Tuesday)
I'm game for a fun caper show. Haven't seen Hutton since Kidnapped was canned a few years ago. |

Funny they were shooting this by my apartment building a few months ago and i asked what it was and the PA said "Leverage". I thought it was a movie or something. So def watching I want to see all the Chicago spots they shoot at.
Mixed reviews, but I'll be checking it out.
1st ep wasn't bad. But I liked it better the 1st time I saw it when it was called Hu$tle.
^ Yeah, not all that original. I'll give it another ep or two.
This was a very cool show. Extremely entertaining. Really looking forward to more and seeing if they can keep up the high standard.
I loved the 1st episode. Very cool show similar to the Ocean's movies. I thought Hutton was great as the lead character.
I thought the writing was very clever and the twist surrounding the Africans was great. Looking forward to the next episode on Tuesday. |
I thought it was a good show. I will be watching it.
Loved this one last night. Has a great cast (although the characters are a smidge cliche), great plot, fantastic twist, and great production.
Aside from the cliche character types my only real complaint was Nate's back story. Although I did like the way they presented it. I give this 8.5 out of 10 and look forward to many more. |
I see Christian Kane from Angel is in it.
I received a memory stick with a digital episode on it. I have not watched it yet though. |
I kept wondering where I remembered Christian Kane from, not from Angel, but he played the husband on the 1st season of Close to Home.
My reaction to this show was very mixed. I guess I was looking for something a bit more serious. The show was a maybe a little too jokey for me, especially in the beginning. I'll give it another episode or two, though. It's not like I watch anything else on Tuesday nights right now.
I really liked it. Looks to be a fun show with good writing. I'm down for the next episode.
I liked how the interrupted the "commercial free" airing for a commercial thanking their sponsor for allowing them to air it without commercials.

How exactly did they make money off of the company's stock dropping? I didn't really understand that part.

Episode #2 last night...not bad, but the entire tone of the show was all over the place.
This episode would have been better if it was meshed with the pilot, rather than airing on its own. Thankfully, my complaints about the pilot were mostly fixed in #2. Characters were dialed back a bit and plot was fine. The just need to nail down the tone and it should be a hit. |
