The moment that had me was when Michael sat in the chair and it start to sink. My chair did that for the longest time and I had many other that did that too.
And I like others, loved the house poo...but it was the reaction that got me "Why is this in the house?!?" Good stuff, but they need to right the ship on this show. |
I agree with the others who have said that this episode felt just like an older episode. It just had a great feel and story. It was all about the actual office, and even though many here obviously will disagree with me, Jim and Pam felt like the couple of old, pre-actual coupling. I liked how they are able to argue in a fun way still and obviously not be angry about it outside the office. I felt this stayed the most true to the dynamic of their old relationship.

Yeah, I thought Pam looked good too, but not so much with the makeup.
Anyway, I enjoyed this episode too. Loved everyone trying to be Michael's friend, loved his "mother f*" cutaway, and liked the whispering from both Jim and Pam. The poo was great with Andy, but I was able to predict the marriage thing and thought that was kind of silly. |

You are insane. She looked good.
Another great episode thanks to the office plot. I kinda figured where the ADA plot was going, but I totally missed that Dwight would have "married" Angela. I felt like an idiot when he told her. Was that a pumpkin that Mose bounced off of Andy's head? |
Did Michael say Urkel-nomically?!?

that was a fantastic episode. so many great moments.

A+ from top to bottom. My wife hates the show and happened to be in the room tonight and was laughing throughout.
Jim and Pam are fantastic - I think it's the first successful "will they or won't they" I've seen on TV. They are just as good together as they were apart. Everyone has posted most of my favorite parts (the cut back to Michael after the chair had sunk below the level of the desk was the best) but there wasn't a misfire here...even the Dwight and Angela stuff was funny. |
Favorite running gag: Whenever they interviewed Creed you could see Solitare on his computer screen.

Although my favorite bit was Jim and Pam at the end. Jim asking for 3 copies... closes in for the kiss... make that 4. rotfl
Classic office. |
"I have swallowed what you've have all said, give me time to digest it, and I will see what comes out the other end"

the stuff with Pam and Jim was gold. A bit over the love triangle of angela, dwight and andy

Deleted scene from the episode.
I wish they had kept the first part in, love Dwight's talking head. "Just shut up and be delicious." rotfl |

Best parts for me were:
-Michael sinking in the chair. He started off slow, you almost couldnt tell he was sinking. -Of course the poo in the kitchen, and Andy's "Why is this in the kitchen?!" -Surprised no one mentioned the coat from Burlington Coat Factory, with the red paint on it. |
I just caught up with all four and a half seasons of this show through Netflix instant streaming over the past two weeks and I am psyched to watch my first episode of The Office live this Thursday. I thought this was a great episode. Does anyone else think Creed is a loopier John Locke (from Lost)?
|
^ oh yeah. I think someone mentioned that in old thread a few seasons ago.

I cringed when Michael called his boss to ask for advice about the surplus... I thought for sure he would screw the whole office out of getting anything.
I did like Michael getting Oscar to explain the surplus thing in simpler and simpler terms... and then when he tried it with the security guard he was derided. Was Michael eating the Tiramisu that Pam had thrown out? He mentioned the whole thing about someone throwing out a Tiramisu because it had a hair on it, but he also went to lunch, so I wasn't quite sure. |
I assumed he just happened to see the tiramisu in the garbage as he sank lower and figured she threw it out because there was a hair on it or something.
