WTF? I never saw "New York, New York" - my DirecTiVo never recorded it and they never repeated it.

I had to manually add the last episode to my DVR. I don't think this one showed up either (at least I don't remember seeing it when I checked my To-Do List last night).

Me too. Weird. I wonder if it's because I have it set to record only first run episodes and for some reason, they're not listed as first run?

Next weeks didn't show up either.

Well and when I saw there were no new upcoming episodes in my Season Pass, I just figured that they'd all aired (didn't count) - the season could have kind of ended with Jason Street's departure (which I'm guessing happened?).

Lame DirecTV. Very very lame considering you want people to watch your "exclusive" airing.

rfduncan:
I actually posted a warning on the "New York, New York" thread that it wasn't showing up in the season pass and you had to do a search and re-set it.

They actually only re-air it once on Friday's.

Blech. Usually don't go into a thread until after I've seen the episode. And I didn't realize that it didn't record until I sat down to watch my DirecTV stuff over the weekend. So I'd have missed it anyway.

I think Coach got a lucky with that call. Didn't make much sense - under one minute left, you've held your opponent to 7 points all game and you go for it to ice it in your territory on 4th and 7. Well like they say - there is a fine line between insanity and genius.

Man I hope they wrap up this stupid Tyra storyline already.

Some of the female characters can be exasperating in their choices in men.

At least Matt is getting some PT on the field now.

This show is on another level of drama than anything else on TV.

I think this season is better than the first.

EDIT: and I give Adrianne Palicki credit for a great performance.

Tyra is nuts, but I'm hoping that storyline is over for now. Next week's ep looks to be a very good one.

Again, another solid football-oriented episode. Loved seeing Matt getting PT at Wide Receiver.

Tyra just baffles me. Not only does she keep screwing with Landry's head and crying on his shoulder all the time. But, she keeps 2nd-guessing her own decisions. I want to go to college, no I don't think I will make it.....Breaks up with the Cowboy boyfriend, then runs off with the Cowboy boyfriend because he "might" cheat on her.

This has been such a great season. Can't believe it's winding down.

BTW, I saw the NBC TV truck in this episode. Has NBC Sports ever broadcasted a High School Football game?

Tyra wants the quick fix.. she doesn't want to have to work for anything.
Applying to colleges is work, if she's accepted into one of them, she's going to
have to work harder than most to stay in. She wants out of Dillon. Really bad. She'll take any opportunity (hooking up w a traveling salesman from season one) that comes along to make that happen... even if she knows it may lead to no where..(Cash, deep down she knows/senses he's a loser) if she can just get out of Dillon she thinks her prayers will be answered.

Yeah, next week looks real good:
Spoiler:
Coach catching his 16/17 yr old daughter in bed w/ his former QB1.. Buddy losing all his money.. including Lyla's college fund.

Agreed. Looks like there's four more episodes.
Wish there were more!

(Don't click that link and read unless you want to see short descriptions of the next couple episodes.)

Sure Tyra's story has been a tad annoying this year, but another great episode last night, Adrianne Palicki did a solid job tonight, hopefully its the end of her and the cowboy. Next weeks preview looks awesome.

It's hard to have any sympathy for Tyra. She put herself in that situation.

It's also hard to figure that Tim Riggins would have the grades/test scores to get a college scholarship. He hasn't attended a class in two years. Of course, I don't really buy him as a starting tailback either.

Another great one. Matt's home life is the second center of the show next to the Taylor's. Lyla bonding with Billy's fiance was a bit weird.

What the hell was up with that last play of the game?
