Synopsis:

Spoiler:

Clay's idea to raise money for Bobby's defense carries a significant amount of risk; Abel's homecoming could be overshadowed by more trouble for SAMCRO.

Next week is the season finale.

Ravenous 11-19-08 08:16 PM

 Goddamnit man, I just bumped the last thread saying there was nothing on the new ep!

DJariya 11-19-08 08:18 PM

I normally create these earlier in the day, but my computer's backup battery started making noises and I had to turn it off.

Anyways, looking forward to this season wrapping up.

Shamus McAnally 11-19-08 10:15 PM

Holy crap!

That episode was intense. FX is just bringing the intensity this week!

Really looking forward to next week, seeing how things come to a head. I can't imagine the "big" showdown yet, but still should be interesting.

Damn does Katey Sagal play a bitch all too well!

Axeramm 11-19-08 10:57 PM

Damn!

Hale knocking out the black ATF agent:lol:

can't wait until next week

After an initial hesitation on my part, this show has quickly vaulted to one of my favorite of the season. The dichotomy that exists between the various characters is subtle and layered, being built upon by each episode.

All this from a "simple" show about bikers.

SexualPudding 11-20-08 02:01 PM

Yeah, it has gotten a bit better every week for me. Last night's episode was pretty damn incredible, imo. Even though they (purposely) gave away how that "shooting" sequence was going to go down in advance, I loved watching it all unfold.

Regarding the preview for next week at the end...

Spoiler:
The brief clip they showed of Jax and the guy who shot Opie's wife fighting in the house had a Tony Soprano vs. Ralphie vibe to me. I'd love it if it played out anything like that.

Brian Gentz 11-20-08 06:36 PM

yeah I've been enjoying SOA more than the last season of the Shield

Agreed! That was one of the best moments of the series so far.

I think the "giving away" of the ending was to keep us hoping that someone would be able to stop Tig before he did it. (Not that there was much doubt that he wouldn't be stopped.)

Charlie Goose 11-21-08 08:19 AM

Poor Opie. I wonder if he'll realize what happened.

After he saved Tig's life too. :grunt:

Geofferson 11-21-08 08:21 AM

Great episode -- glad this arc turned out to not be not fully predictable.

Original Desmond 11-23-08 05:40 AM

awesome episode, my 2nd fav show behind supernatural

Really intense suspenseful episode

Original Desmond 11-23-08 05:46 AM

What gets me is even if it was Opie who was killed, how could Clay and Tigs really feel they could convince the rest of the club it was a drive by shooting

Everyone i mean everyone at the accident scene knew what had happened. If Sherif Boss Hog could figure it out, then Jax and the others sure as hell could too!

Vespertillio 11-23-08 11:04 PM

I thought that was the best episode of television I had seen in years. I rewound to the song a few times...it was haunting. This was a fluffer to the DVR this season but this show made it's way to the top rather quickly for me.

FantasticVSDoom 11-24-08 07:58 AM

Great episode... I was so pissed off, even I wanted some revenge. Can't wait to see how this ends next week.

I felt the same way. I thought for sure he was going to be stopped in time, but as soon as Opie's wife switched and got in the truck, I knew she was a goner. Saddest episode of a TV show since Jurassic Bark (Futurama).
