Speculation/Comment based on last week's preview:

Spoiler:
I hope this eclipse thing is like a reboot. I wouldn't mind some people just losing their powers and blaming it on the eclipse. Or at least tone things down and get rid of time travel. It brings up too many loopholes.

Hopefully, it kills off a few useless characters.

Why the hate for Mohinder?

I will tape it and watch it later while I watch Marshawn Lynch score 2 TDs hopefully in the snow.

What's coming? The Cancellation?

Mohinder is probably one of the most boring characters on the show along with Matt the cop.

LOL!

I heard this actually happens, but then Hiro goes back five minutes in time, against his conviction that he would NEVER EVER do it again, and saves him. This is what makes Ando mad enough to kill Hiro. And he does. But then Claire injects dead Hiro with a vial of her blood and he heals and kills Ando, who dies in this timeline, but is brought back from another timeline in which another new painter saw this with foresight and got Parkman and his turtle to prevent it from happening in the current timeline.

They should just have it pick up right after the last episode of season one. Pretend two and three never happened.

This ep actually moved the story forward... after taking three huge steps back.

Just kidding.

I'm guessing that now Sylar can...
Spoiler:
Take powers without killing the host or removing their power.

And I guess the lines have been drawn.

Mr. Petrelli was in "Isaac" mode drawing a pic of the second eclipse. That was it.

Old Man Petrelli is using the African dude's powers to draw a vision of the future: a solar eclipse. There's an ominous Mohinder voiceover about something ominous and/or pretentious.

Will somebody remind me what happened to Future Peter?

From some Heroes Wiki...
Spoiler:
I Am Become Death

Future Peter and present-day Peter arrive in New York, four years in the future. Peter remarks that things seem exactly the same as they did in his time, but future Peter tells him there is one big difference. They witness a person rush past them and two businessmen fly off into the air. Then they step out into the open to see hundreds of people flying around the city. Future Peter says that this is what Peter needs to prevent, because now abilities are available to anyone who has the means to obtain them. He tells Peter to find Sylar, because his ability is the only thing that will allow Peter to figure out how to properly mend the timeline. Suddenly, Future Claire shoots future Peter in the chest, apparently killing him. She is shocked to see another Peter and attempts to shoot him but misses.

"It's Coming"

all I kept saying was please let "it" be the credits because they couldn't have come soon enough

and the only reason I am watching is because my wife wants someone to watch this with after I got her hooked .... and she has bad taste in tv as evident by her wanting to sit through the rest of this dung

Yay, another pretty good episode. I hate it though that they've lost so many viewers because they had so many crappy episodes leading up to this. They should have started the season closer to here instead of leading up to it.

Here's hoping for more episodes at least as good as this one (plot holes notwithstanding).

So, who supposedly drew that comic book that Hiro and Ando were reading? Wasn't Isaac the one who drew those before?

I cracked up at Ando trying to explain to Hiro that he has powers and Hiro flashed the Ultraman arm-cross.

I seriously had a hard time paying attention to this episode the last 20 minutes or so. I did enjoy all the silly stuff Hiro was doing while he stopped time.

Is it just me or is Zachary Quinto wearing eyebrow wigs this season?

Hrm, good point. I don't know.

This episode felt longer. I thought it was almost over then realized it was only 8:28. It seems they have drawn the lines now, but I'm not sure how I'm going to handle this concept of Heroes with no powers. I mean, I can watch ordinary people make fools of themselves any time I want. Who knows....

If they kill off Mohinder by Christmas though, I'll be a firm believer and finally give them credit. He really needs to be gone.

I will watch the rest of the series just to get a sense of what the hell the writers were going for but it's become a crap show.

Another gimmick with the eclipse and their powers is not going to save this show. Maybe the Villains/Homeland Security chapter will be good, but the show's mythos is severely lacking.
