Is everyone done with 'My Name Is Earl'?

It just seems kind of strange that a show that used to get a pretty reasonable amount of conversation has two weeks go by with no episode threads.

Kind of sad.

I am still watching and enjoying it. I just don't really think about it after I do so I never notice people aren't starting threads.

I still watch it, but there's not much to talk about. 90% of the content in the threads has always been about how hot Catalina is anyway.

Yeah, I left it early last season. After he went to prison, it just kinda got stale to me. It always had some good one-liners, but it wasn't essential viewing for me.

It's easy, mindless fun. I still watch it, but my wife doesn't care if it is on or not. So, like Sarah Silverman and South Park, I tend to watch it when she's not around.

I gave up on the show halfway through Season 1.

I'm still in. I just see no need to discuss it every week. The show is fun but its not really a conversation piece.

I gave up at the end of last season. The show never seemed to recover for me from the episode with Earl in a coma.

I have this really weird like/hate relationship with "MNiE"... I have to really psyche myself up to watch the dvr'd episodes on my tivo, always feeling like its a chore to watch the show, then about 3-4 minutes into it, I do end up enjoying the episode (for the most part).

I'm enjoying this season far more then last. Prison/Coma/Dreamworld was lame.

Yeah, sort of the same way for me. I always have 2 or 3 episodes sitting on the Tivo and I'll finally force myself to watch it when I'm done with everything else. I enjoy it when I watch it but it's a show that if I didn't have a DVR I wouldn't give a second thought at this point.

I enjoyed the prison season. Especially the one with the rival gang leaders

I felt some of season three was funny (a few of those prison ones were bust a gut funny) and the rest wasn't. I have seen about 5 episodes so far this season and it seems to be back on track. So I am still game for it.

I don't know if chatter on DVD Talk is an actual indicator of a show's popularity. Hell people discuss shows like Smallville ad nausea so there you go.

They need to make Ben Foster a main cast member. Then maybe I'd be forced to watch it on the Thursday it airs instead of, usually, a day or so after.

Well, after hearing on this forum that this week's ep is basically a 1/2 hour commercial, I deleted it from my PVR w/o watching. So yeah, I guess I'm out. I was watching it on autopilot anyway -- just didn't make me laugh anymore.

I really hope Catalina shows up on some other show. Soon. (Thanks Snowmaker!)

Yeah, last week's episode was horrible - an entire Joy subplot that was a commercial for a piece of jewelry. Maybe if it was actually funny or made sense, I wouldn't care as much, but it was really shoddy and crass. The main Earl plot was okay (and commercial-free), but the Joy garbage still soured me on the entire episode.

I've been mixed on the show ever since the coma/dream run; it's definitely gotten better since then, but it still doesn't click for me as much as it used to.

I'm still watching every week. If there's a thread, I may post in it but I don't usually feel strong enough about it to start one.
