Zen Peckinpah 10-22-08 11:07 AM

I wonder if this could be about the economy crisis.

Gizmo 10-22-08 11:12 AM

Yes!!!!!

Zen Peckinpah 10-22-08 09:06 PM

 at Randy videotaping Stan's grandpa taking a bath. Here's hoping his camcorder obsession somehow turns into a Cloverfield parody.

lordwow 10-22-08 09:20 PM

rotfl @ "one of our friends was raped in Peru"

Winner!

lordwow 10-22-08 09:30 PM

I thought that was ok, until the ending. From the reveal of the monster on, absolutely hysterical

Zen Peckinpah 10-22-08 09:31 PM

My head nearly exploded at the revelation of the guinea pig. That it was live action kills it, absolutely ingenious. What was the last part with the Richard Jenkins lookalike's tongue supposed to spoof?

Snowmaker 10-22-08 09:33 PM

What was said at the very end? My DVR cut off right after he killed the guy and said "I've worked too hard to make this happen...".

Is it to be continued?

lordwow 10-22-08 09:37 PM

He said
Spoiler:
something to the effect of sending the only one who can stop him to the middle of nowhere... and then shows him looking down at a picture of Craig and it goes to credits

dadaluholla 10-22-08 09:42 PM

Aside from the bit with Randy and the guinea pigs, this episode was boring as hell.

Indeed. Disappointing season thus far.

MrX 10-22-08 09:58 PM

Craig's comments to the boys about this is why everyone thinks they're assholes were amusing, the rest was ok.

CrashNBurn69 10-22-08 11:27 PM

"im so... startled" lol

pridesticks06 10-22-08 11:39 PM

I thought the pan flute part was mediocre. Randy made the episode. Loved his Cloverfield-esque parts.

Ron G 10-22-08 11:58 PM

White people trying to consume ethnic authenticity was amusing.

My Other Self 10-23-08 12:33 AM

I am beyond thrilled Craig finally had an episode.. kind of.. but is this a 2-parter? Is the ending in reference to a movie?

Gizmo 10-23-08 12:40 AM

No one is  at the "our friend was raped in Puru" line? Poor Indy :(

I just got it.

Rubix 10-23-08 04:31 AM

hilarious as usual to me. anything with cartman talking cracks me up. it was the first time in a long time that stan and kyle were hanging out with cartman as friends, like in the earlier seasons... i think.

i liked how the guinea pigs looked completely normal and friendly as everyone ran in terror and cars flew around.

also i approve of the duck portrait in stan's dining room.

chuckd21 10-23-08 06:43 AM

Randy's videotaping and Craig's running commentary made the episode work for me, even though the set up took way too long and wasn't that entertaining.

Oh, and Kenny's almost hypnotic dancing at the beginning.
