Great, my Fox HD just went out 2 minutes in. That channel goes out every week, one time, during either House or Fringe. I'm done with it. I'm just going to watch them online the next day from now on.

If your HD feed is having problems, just watch it in standard def. At least it's better than sitting at your desk waiting 2-3 days for FOX to post it online.

I don't have HD yet, but I don't think House is really improved visually by it.

firteen88 10-14-08 09:04 PM

Ehh. Didn't think it was a very good episode. I'm not loving this season so far. Boring patients and not much going on with house (other than Wilson leaving which ended tonight)

FOX.com waits 8 days to post episodes. There are other ways, of course.

I think the show looks great in HD. If I HAD to watch it in SD, though, I'd live.

Really? I thought it was a great episode.

Yeah your right it's because the show is produced by NBC/Universal and it's probably a rights issue.

Glad they are finally bringing Wilson back. I liked the story of how House and him met.

superdeluxe 10-14-08 11:09 PM

I like episodes where its mostly house and wilson.

Also notice from the last few episodes..and the preview of next weeks episode:

Spoiler:
They are phasing 13 out, and Taub looks like he is having a exit plan as well (adultery), looks like only kutner does not have a exit plan yet

Agree! (but what's with all my fave shows & the repetition of the "daddy issues" storyline?) The interaction amongst the old team was a nice added bonus to the House-Wilson roadtrip.

Hanson and ABBA ringtones for team & Wilson

Same reasons I enjoyed it. Loved that Cameron & Chase actually had decent roles in the episode, and I always enjoy House and Wilson. Solid episode imo.

Can anyone tell me what happened in, what I think, is the last scene of the show? My DVR cut off right after Wilson went in House's office and asked him about the patient.

Thanks in advance.

Hulu posts it the next day. Should be up within an hour or so.

Spoiler:
Basically Wilson admits House is basically the only real friend he has, and is coming back. I think his father's death messed him up a bit (and also its not his biological father

marty888 10-15-08 07:31 AM

So far I've been very pleased with this season - the writing remains sharp, the principal characters still hold our interest.

Patman 10-15-08 08:26 AM

Hooray, Wilson and House finally bury the hatchet.

House really is a shameful cuss, hilarious feint to get DNA from his "dad".

It was a little weird to see the old team doing differentials on the current case with the current team.

That was my favorite part. He bails him out because Wilson wasn't "boring".

Snowmaker 10-15-08 11:07 AM

The preview for next week looks interesting. :eyebrow::saber::hump:

Jeffy 10-15-08 11:22 AM

I also really enjoyed this episode, House seems to be reaching out emotionally more to Wilson, although we have seen that before and House returns to his old self. When House dropped the flashlight down the gutter and Wilson had another was a funny moment to.

Preview for the next episode looks very interesting with the whole 13 storyline.

Kal-El 10-15-08 11:46 AM

Loved it. Whenever House is away from the team and still does the differential, it's mostly gold. Just like the one where he was stuck in the airport in Boston with Stacy.
Liked the original 3 doing a differential by themselves as well. Kudos to the writers for coming up with the roundabout way to let the audience know how Wilson and House first met.

orderandlaw 10-15-08 01:20 PM

I really liked this episode. It reminds me of the one from season 4 when they went on the road trip with Coma Guy, which is a favorite of mine.

Yes. I think that you are correct...

I thought it was the best part of the episode! The three characters have not been in the same shot since what? Last season sometime? All said and done, I wish it could go back to Cameron, Chase and Foreman. Kutner, Taub and 13 just are doing it for me anymore. House has squeezed all he can out of them.

Shazam 10-15-08 04:05 PM

The writer's strike totally screwed with the storyline; Amber's death was supposed to be during the mid-season.

kenage 10-15-08 06:39 PM

They can cut Kutner and Taub but I would be ok with keeping 13 around.

B.A. 10-15-08 10:32 PM

This was the best ep in some time.

It was great seeing House and Wilson back together, and getting more of their backstory to boot.
