It's a guilty pleasure. I will watch.

Yes!!!!

GoVegan 10-08-08 09:28 AM

I'm in. Seems like it's been ages since the last new episode.

riley_dude 10-08-08 09:56 AM

I love this show. I was beginning to wonder if it was coming back at all.

It was renewed up until the 15th season...so another 3 or so years.

Edit: Scratch that. Thought this was the South Park thread

Been listening to The Spin Doctors all day

What better way to start SSP's midseason with a Pringles canister full of urine and Shredded Mini-Weeds...

Both new episodes got off to a good start, but then petered out towards the end (Garry Marshall was wasted in the first show). Still enough for some ridiculous moments - the crude home video reenactment of the Mongolian crimes was hilarious! rotfl

riley_dude 10-10-08 12:55 AM

First episode was pretty horrible.

Larry C. 10-10-08 01:20 AM

Wow the second episode was worse.....

kstublen 10-10-08 06:23 AM

lol I love this show. It's a guilty pleasure to be sure.

The TAB Episode is still my all-time favourite; I usually prefer the subplots involving Steve and Brian.

Mod Note:

This is considered "thread-crapping" and is frowned upon in this forum. If you have a critique of a show, please feel free to post your opinion, but this type of blanket dismissal of "it sucks and why do you watch" is considered rude. Please refrain from these types of posts in the future.

I liked the Mongolian episode. That hotel room looked a lot like the one from Bachelor Party I thought.

The "High" episode was just OK.

riley_dude 10-14-08 09:14 AM

Second episode was much better. I was laughing quite a bit.

The second episode was better. All the 80's references (crazy penthouse hotel party with live band, goofy courtroom last-minute dismissal, etc.) were pretty funny.

Overall, I thought both episodes were just okay. Having two in a row was probably a little bit of an OD for this type of humor though IMHO.

I'm pretty sure that was intentional... They even had the donkey.

mnementh 10-24-08 02:52 AM

Oh Larry, you Moe'd your Curly.

berserker37 10-24-08 09:00 AM

I can't stop laughing about this line:

"No, it's just, uh, juicy groins!"

riley_dude 10-24-08 10:49 AM

I can't get the song, Makin' New Friends, from last week's episode, out of my head.

I still have a laugh-cramp from that one. Good episode!

I would take Laura Silverman no matter how large her bush was.

Two (er, three) tossed off lines had me rolling this week, for some reason:

"Me sorry poo poo!"

Jay: "You know what, you're a wheel genius."
Tig: "Wheelie?"

Jay's terrible puns and jokes always get me.
