The Life and Times of Tim -- Season Premier

Couldn't find a thread on this.

Hopefully someone was able to make it through the Little Brit show on after Entourage to find this gem. This show is amazing. One of the better comedic efforts the network has put out in quite a while. I can only hope it gets picked up for more seasons and gets pushed up to a better timeslot.

I turned this on and when I first saw the animation I thought 'Oh shit, this looks bad'. A minute later I was laughing and by the end really loved it. Very very funny show. "That's a little bum rape humor".

The bachelor party segment was eh, but anytime someone, anyone, want's to make a joke out of bum-rape, well count me in.

I thought this was terrible. I made it through the first segment and did not laugh once and only watched a few minutes of the second segment before I finally turned it off.

I was seriously wondering how this show made it onto the air.

I liked it a lot. The animation was nothing to write home about, but Tim's delivery was great. I thought it was pretty funny.

It felt a little like Dr. Katz. Probably the animation style, and I think some of the same voice actors. It was all right. I think I had higher hopes for it, but I'll be sticking around to see how this one develops.

I was thinking the same thing, but I didn't recognize any of the voice actors names from Dr. Katz.

I thought the first segment was amazing, but the second missed the mark a bit. Definately will be tuning in next week to see if they can hit again.

Gave up about halfway through. I'll probably catch a rerun to finish it off, but it didn't bowl me over on first impression.

Can't believe more people don't like this show. I love this type of humor. It's like an animated Curb Your Enthusiasm.

I can't stand animation this bad. It might be funny but it makes my eyes bleed

I found it to be about as funny as Lucky Louie. Which is to say, not very funny at all.

I also found this show by accident. Definitely laugh out loud funny........

Why are people even talking about animation? South Park hasn't had any animation to speak of in twelve years and is still an incredible show.

Re: The Life and Times of Tim -- Season Premier

Sorry to drag up an old thread, but I think this show is hysterical. Tim's sarcasm and random adventures are always funny and ridiculous!

Does anyone know why the DVD didn't get released today?? I was at Best Buy early only to find out it never released!

Bad news for fans of this show (like me). It has been cancelled by HBO.

Sounds like it could still get picked up by another network.

Damn straight! I love this show and am really glad to hear it'll be back (seems like a no brainer, I'm sure it's cheap to produce.)

I'm very happy with this decision. One of my favorite comedies on the air now.

Awesome news! I was expecting to see the show picked up somewhere else when I saw the thread bump, but the fact that it's still on HBO is even better.

If you have HBO and aren't watching this show, do yourself a favor and check it out when it comes back.
