where in my post did I say that the Haitian was in this episode? Or was talking about this character, which has been on the show since day one, a spoiler?

No Suresh!

I too think that Pac-Man is in his own head.

Sad that The German and Jesse didn't hang around very long... and poor Bridget.

How did he get to Africa, anyway? I don't recall that from the S2 finale.

I haven't seen tonights episode yet, but I thought that's where he was last Monday. It seemed unlikely to me that even future Peter would send Parker to the real African desert where he could die of exposure or thirst.

I dont think Claire would have died in the room with her mother. Seems to me she would be like when she died in Season 1 and the thing was stuck in her brain. Once it was removed she woke. Figure once she was put in a room with oxygen she would breathe again.

Heroes seems to be following the Lost formula and revealing just enough to keep us watching. I'm getting frustrated.

I don't quite understand why Cyler kills the Sonic guy but then just willingly walks into the jail cell when his "mom" is there. Figured he'd just go nuts and start on his own rampage.

Sylar is doing exactly what Ma Petrelli wants him to do is my guess. She thinks he's under her control. Why house these prisoners when you can capture the powers in a guy under your control for your own use?

The Haitian was there which generally implies people can't use their powers so he couldn't do anything at that moment if he wanted to.

I thought this episode was much better than last week.

Didn't think that Parkman may just be in his own head, but it makes sense.

And so much for another Veronica Mars reunion!

Maybe my mind is playing a trick on me. I saw Sylar draw Sonic dude's blood at the bank...but then they were putting the same guy in prison? Did I imagine this or was that someone else? I'm confused. I need a gawddamn DVR so I can repeat scenes.

That was the other bald guy - the guy that did blue flames. (all them bald white dudes look alike!)

I liked the turtle eating the 9th Wonder comic.

they put the blue flame guy in prison not sonic guy.
A few questions:

Did sylar kill vernocia mars?

The synopsis on tv said something about suresh but he was nowhere in the show ( I am not complaining)

Why does the african keep calling Matt "Pacman" :)

You mean K. Bell? I don't watch VM so I'm guessing that's who you mean. No. Sylar cut her head open but he only got so far before all her stored up power released an EMP allowing the bad guys to escape, while knocking everyone else on their asses. Momma Patrelli took over and gave Electro Girl her walkin' papers. Apparently her daddy was protecting her and keeping her around way past her "use by" date. I'm guessing she'll show up again out of nowhere in some future ep either looking for redemption or revenge...but who knows.

His accent. To me it sounds like "Batman".

Significant improvement over last week and I am very excited this isn't just another Ali Larter personality. I really hope they don't let us down with that plot. On a similar note, did Micah's cousin also die in the explosion last season? I really can't remember and she seems completely ignored if she didn't.

The Sylar thing was a bit odd, but I will admit I wasn't ever entirely sure what was going to happen so that's a major plus. Staying on my list for now.

Mercury&Solace 09-30-08 01:07 AM

This show is a train wreck.
Ya mostly.

A little bit of an improvement over last week but not much....some things are really getting ridiculous. Hiro.......SMH.

Parkman/Africa story is lame.
Where is Molly?
Good to see that there was NO Suresh, thank god.
Good to see the Haitian back.
This back and fourth thing with Sylar is dumb....is he good, is he bad, is he good, is he bad. it will work for a little while, but not long.
Pretty inventive way to hurt/kill/make Claire suffer. I like.

ummmm note to writers, Sylar has more powers than his telekinesis.

Anybody know the production budget per episode on this show? I would think it would be pretty high, cast, locations, CGI. I wonder how long this show can last if ratings are down. Just curious.

CKMorpheus 09-30-08 01:29 AM

Claire in the sauna, HOT.
Sylar trying to play the good guy, funny.
No Suresh,.

This may actually be a good season.

Aaaaaaaaaaaadrian!!

hahn 09-30-08 02:31 AM

Ma Petrelli introduces a girl (Bridgette?) who walks in willingly to sacrifice herself to Sylar. Huh? Ma Petrelli made some comment about feeding him. Thought we established last week that he doesn't eat their brains.

Hiro's turned into a dumbass. Molly's nowhere to be seen. Micah is apparently living on his own. Ugh. This show is turning into a mess. I don't even remember how Nikki died last season. It's almost as if they have multiple writers writing separate storylines for each character. And the writers aren't talking to each other about what they're doing. And at the end, they try to blend the stories together and hope that it somehow makes sense.

gmanca 09-30-08 02:49 AM

I have two things on this season: the stories are too cluttered and I'd prefer if they either dropped some characters or stopped the 7 minutes per storyline rule. I like the Sylar/HRG agents angle and Hiro/Daphne/Ando stuff but the other "bad" characters are pretty bad. Parkman's story isn't bad; it looks like they are trying to have this vision quest enhance his powers which may make him too powerful.

And I could not stand the stupid ass additions of the "Do you know what waterboarding is?" "Super Guantanamo" lines because they don't belong in some fictional fluff.

Sorraffy 09-30-08 04:22 AM

So apparently Isaac (from season 1) wasn't really special at all since now there are two more people who have eyes like him and also paint.

Spider-hinder not in this episode but will most likely be in the next since Heroes has so many characters that they have to break them up so they appear in every other episode (that got tiresome last season)

Didn't Suresh send her to a "safe place" last season?

after the scream I assume Mom meant feeding him abilities.

Why would you say that? Apparently these abilities are somewhat "common" amongst the "gifted" humans. Momma Petrelli dreams the future, Isaac and the African Paint the future, Nathan can fly, Claire's Boycrush from last season could fly, Claire's Mom could make fire, and the guy who escaped Level 5 could do the same...and so on.
