So the drawings were his interpretations of the yet to occurr events? I guess the confusing part was when we were shown flashes and they were the same as what was shown when the event actually did happen. Plus, if he's intercepting these hidden messages, why would he receive open conversations over a cell phone? Wouldn't he get everybodys cell conversations?
I thought this episode flowed better and I did not find myself thinking "do I like this" "will I continue to watch this". I just watched and enjoyed. The first two episodes didn't grab me and the "comedy" moments didn't work. I realize now that the comedy moments are part of the show and I will get used to them, but they don't seem as coy/clever as the few we got during The X-Files. Maybe they will get better. For example, I just didn't think the freshmen looking for poly/sci class was funny....just seems like they are trying to hard. Like I said, hopefully that aspect of the show gets better or grows on me. But otherwise, I am enjoying the 45 minutes of escapism each week.

I'm in. The show is growing on me every week. It makes me laugh with Walter and his son.
I agree that Olivia is the weakest link there, last episode I really hated her, they show her as really dumb. That may change in the future.

I'm all caught up on the eps now and I like this show a lot. Since I like it, I'm sure it'll get shot down sooner or later based on the dislike I'm reading here. Either way, for now I'm really diggin' it.

Halfway through this episode, I realized I did not care what was happening or about any of these characters. I hit delete and removed the season pass. On paper, this is a show I want to like, but I have just too many other shows to watch right now. It feels good to lighten the load.

What are we at right now?
30% like and 70% hate.
For a show that seems to generate alot of hate and criticism here, these threads are still getting alot of hits.

Why are people talking about Walter pulling inventions out of his ass? The majority of these things that are going on are based on stuff he did with the head of MD before Walt was committed.

How are the ratings doing?
And people are doing that, Rogue, for two reasons:
#1.) They don't pay enough attention to the details of the show
#2.) They just want to bitch

I enjoy it enough to keep watching, although I do agree that the deus ex machina stuff is not too good.

I finally caught up, and I'm on board too... unfortunately, as others have said, every tv show depends on ratings (or a champion from higher up in the network), so general quality or even the people just waiting for the DVD won't necessarily help it stick around... not that it's anyone's duty to help a show stick around.
So I did have a couple of issues: this ghost network was what the bad guys were using to communicate all their plans, including the plane from the first episode. Did they find a way to tap into it? You'd think that'd be a valuable tool in their fight against whomever they were going after.
So are the "terrorists" and Massive Dynamics the same entity, and the Feds (even at the top) just don't realize that? Or are there two different "bad guy" groups? And why did they use the gel, besides the visual effect for the tv show again? To send a message? To whom?

Finally watched this over the weekend. I was pleased. It's not great by any stretch of the imagination, but it felt to me like this episode kicked the concept into the next gear. I'll give it another episode or maybe two.
