My girlfriend and I sat down to figure this out last night. Here's what I remember...

Sun - Desp Housewives, Brothers and Sisters, Dexter, Californication, Simpsons, Family Guy, True Blood, Entourage

Mon - Terminator, Prison Break

Tues - House, Fringe, Shield

Wed - Bones, America's Next Top Model, Pushing Daisies, Private Practice, Lipstick Jungle

Thurs - The Office, Grey's Anatomy, Life on Mars

Fri - Don't Forget the Lyrics, Wife Swap, Supernanny.

Additions will happen when Top Chef, Curb (although not til late 2009) and a couple others return

I forgot about Scrubs. I dunno when it'll be on ABC, but I'll watch it when it is. Also, I don't get Showtime, so looks like I'll be having to find Californication online somewhere.

Monday - Chuck, Terminator, Heroes
Tuesday - Fringe, House
Wednesday- Pushing Daisies, Dirty Sexy Money

Quake1028 09-24-08 08:32 AM

Non-sports related, and counting PTI, The Daily Show and The Colbert Report every day:

Sunday - The Amazing Race, Simpsons, Family Guy, American Dad, True Blood
Monday - The Big Bang Theory, Worst Week, Chuck, CSI Miami
Tuesday - House, NCIS, The Mentalist, Fringe, Without a Trace, Law & Order: SVU
Wednesday - Bones, Criminal Minds, Gary: Unmarried, Knight Rider, Pushing Daisies
Thursday - The Office, 30 Rock, My Name is Earl, Life on Mars
Friday - Everybody Hates Chris, Life, Crusoe

By my count that's around 22 hours (16.5 with the DVR) of TV per week. That's way too much, but a lot of them will get cancelled/lose interest, etc.

Scrubs, whenever that returns

That's enough TV for me, especially if you factor in the syndicated episodes of "Scrubs," "King of Queens," "The Simpsons," and "Seinfeld" that I watch daily.

Honestly, none of the new fall shows that I've read about seem all that appealing to me. The networks are way too quick to axe new shows these days, so what they offer really has pique my interest to make me make the investment. Otherwise, it seems like the time I spend is for nothing (especially if the show is cancelled before plots are resolved).

That said, I *may* watch "Life on Mars," since my roommate raves about the original version (I have yet to see any od those episodes, though). And, although I didn't watch it last season, I'll likely start "Pushing Daisies." I've downloaded all of the previous episodes and just need to get caught up.

Well Terminator has dropped off, didn't care enough to tape it.

Don't really care enough about any of the 10pm shows either..so those are all gone.

Fringe is a Season keeper now. It might be the only new show of the season that I'm going to keep.

FatTony 10-01-08 12:14 PM

The only shows I'm following regularly right now are Heroes and The Office. I'll watch 30 Rock, Scrubs, and Lost when they return and I'll watch Chuck and My Name is Earl if I happen to be home for them.

Overall, I don't see anything new this season that's worth following.
